Yesterday I went to my buddy's house but I wasn't allowed in. Now thats 4X4.
He put on a turn-down collar, a black bow, and wore his Sunday tail-coat. As such, he looked spruce, and what his clothes would not do, his instinct for making the most of his good looks would.

Every beat is boring, given that you define boring as repetitive.

I didn't find Homework boring at all, just because it's very repetitive doesn't make it boring. Take Hatiras: Spaced Invader for example, so repetitive, but fooking amazing. One track by Thomas Bangalter called Together just takes the piss though, my mum turned it off because she thought the cd got stuck X-D

together is a top track, and an awesome bass line. as i've said before thomas bangalter is the master of monotony

the chems have been know to spin spaced invader in thier dj set. although i only heard them play it in 2000. i seem to remember that tom was on the phone to pete tong on the essential selection. and he made it his record of the week

"The record player keeps on turning round ... it could be stuck or maybe it's the sound." :D

well this thread is now 4 pages long, and started to stray off subject in the second page. its the same with most threads on this forum, they slowly go off track. but i don't think anyone can complain if a thread goes off the main subject. if you want it back on track then contribute something constructive.

i also think its still to early to be talking about the new album. i rekcon it's gonna be at least 6 months till it drops. you'll probably start getting the album news 3 months before release.

Oh no! You've discovered the Truth! Anyway after tuesday night I maybe know something more than you, that is I've been at the CB's Djset in Florence. I don't know what usually Cb do in theirlive performance 'cause that has been my first experience, anyway they've improvised with never heard track and using turntable a lot. At the end theyve played just 4-5 of their album tracks. It has been wonderful! 4 hours non-stop of Big Beat while Tom screamed "Come on! Are you having fun?"and whatever else I didn't understand cause of the bass case against my legs and Ed sticked his hands up to lead all the audience in rythm... I collected myself just today, until yesterday I was a ghost wandering in my little town... I mean: I'm expecting a great new album, they looked inspired

:D

I know what you mean about those onstage Tom and Ed's pump-up-the-crowd gestures. They didn't preview any new material at the last gig I went to, as it was more a special promotion of their Singles 10 year thing - and even though I had a massive time as were other people jammed in the front of the stage, I heard the crowd was really tough (I don't know, I didn't look behind me the whole time!) It seems like the crowd were really into it at the gig where you saw them.

The first time I saw them dj, they closed the evening of a festival and came on after Fatboy. They were having a great night, I could tell by their mannerisms. I'd heard they were going to play a couple of new tracks, one which had Afrika ka ka ka ka bits and another one which I had to spot. I thought, since I am a crappy trainspotter when it comes to stuff I've ever heard before, how in the hell am I gonna know when their new tracks are being played???

Simple. Besides them being relentless with their musical onslaught as well as signature Chemical noises, they would get these huge smiles on their faces and hug eahc other - Ed would hold his fist in the air and Tom would get that "oh please, come on, you can do better than that!" look. Now you know what I'm talking about. The set was relentless and all I could think was "this must be It Began In Afrika... this must be that Galaxy Bounce song I better keep dancing even though I've endured an entire day in the blasted desert sun!" God I was so exhausted. Those looks on their faces and the wild hand gestures... how could you not want to let them down?

Sorry this is so long, it's like I get glint whenever I talk about stuff like this...
be kind, for everyone you meet is fighting a hard battle
