@whirly/stash: As they say on government ad campaigns here in the UK: "Don't give up giving up!"
@pooter: That's awful what happened to your mate, then his girlfriend cheats on him - Jesus some people :( .

Hmm, thats strange about the plates. I like inchem's suggestions (especially GALVNZE). This site could use a change of colors at a minimum. It's become so dull and bland. Although, it is a large improvement from the last forum.
Blah, now i'm just repeating everything everyone has said already. :P

hehe - you boys are sweet! But I didn't have custom license plates... I had a license plate frame (for my back plate) that was custom made. :)
Nifty ideas for the custom plates, though!
I still have my license plate frame that says Come With Us that was on my old car... it's stashed away in a box somewhere but that one's tired and used. Plus for some reason (and this is kind of weird) I actually had people including a coworker approach me and ask me if I was a swinger because of that frame. Swear to God. Ha! I think it's time to ditch the snazzy fangirl frame all together and invest in one of those heavy duty frames that fully shield the plate and have to be anchored to the bumper. My plates just came right off with ease in probably less than 5 seconds. The cops said Toyotas get stolen a lot, so there's likely a stolen light blue Yaris with my plates driving around.

Got really, really hammered this weekend, but with reason. I was one of the groomsmen at one of my best friend's weddings.
It was 12:30 and the turning point for me happened when the groom lined up double shots of Patron for everyone and told us it wasn't an option at that point -not- to drink them.
This was after three whiskey cokes, a gin and soda, some tasty drink the bartender made me with Absolute Citron vodka, liqueur and 7up, and downing what was left of a bottle of Ketel One (it was about a shot).
I was drunk for a good part of the morning yesterday.

Calling Rynostar!! The Forum Fujirocker who can no doubt give some good tips on what good things to see and do in Tokyo. Same with Jeanie!
So today someone who is several shades of crazy threatened - in writing, via email - to kill me then for some reason thought it was a brilliant idea to take it a few steps further and start making jihad style threats to persons, places and things I'm not at liberty to say here. That was fun.
Needless to say, he'll have some explaining to do to the authorities. And whoever else decides to get involved.
Honestly. What's wrong with people? And more so, why are people such morons to put these kinds of threats in writing... to a company that works with over 1000 law enforcement agencies?

Obviously there is something fundamentally wrong with that individual, or he or she is just looking to make a change in his or her life, but not quite going about it in the way that the rest of us would.
As for me, well, Whirls, you know my drama. ;-) It will be interesting to see how it pans out, if it pans out, or if it will just remain a cliffhanger to a story which won't end. For my sake, I hope it ends.
Right now, I'm really hungry. I have the option of ordering lunch through the firm if I'm working through lunch, but I didn't know how busy I'd be, and that's one of the caveats of getting a free lunch. I should have defaulted and just gone ahead and ordered. Now I have to suffer. :-(
Other than that, I'm really looking forward to Ghostland Observatory on Friday!!! :) :) :)
@Biff: If you read this before then, you want to come up for the show? Bring the gf? Alexis is coming down and it is going to be a great time!!!

Hard drive died!
Got a new 500GB for 49.99 bucks.
Got a friend, who i've known since college, is leaving on Saturday to live the rest of his life in Vegas, and get married! It sad to see your friends go but he'll be livin' it up and enjoy the finer things that the L.A. County couldn't offer.
I'm thinking of a Dinnerware set or something for the bye-bye-off-to-get-hitched gift.

@inchemwetrust: Noooo! Hard drive deaths are the worst! So much stuff lost. :-(
Hope your friend is making a good choice--if I were given the choice between L.A. and Las Vegas, there would be no choice. I despise Vegas, though admittedly it's great for a visit from time to time.

Im still alive!
Enjoying the BBQ but still observing the people who gave their lives just so I can have cheese on my burger with my family and friends.
The guy got knocked out from the fall it seems. The guy shouldn't have been beaten by the cops, but he did try to drive over that cop who put that spike strip down.
If the Chems could play Vegas...that would be cool.
I got a biopsy before. no sign of cancer from sun damage or anything else.

Have you ever taken the train, gotten off and walked a few miles before you realized it let you off at the wrong stop and you can't find your way back to the station?
That's kind of my life right now. It's surreal, it's upside down, I'm OK one minute and a complete wreck the next. It's kind of a living hell actually... unfortunately I cannot publicly disclose what is happening. I don't want sympathy, but I just wanted to let y'all know I love you guys and I am here to check the board but my participation needs to be kept at a minimum right now.
