Yesterday, I surfed on the internet lookchem and found an interesting news, it is about fellow sufferers:propylene oxide and polyether.

This year PO, PPG's market has been unsatisfactory. On June, driven by the price of producing the raw materials of acrylamide, propylene oxide's prices has finally started to rise sharply. Naturally, Propylene oxide driven the prices of polyether prices' rose. But since then PO, PPG again screw prices whirlpool.

At present the demand of propylene oxide is in off season, compared to previous years's busy, this year is very quiet. An interview with reporters of the manufacturers said that because of the lower reaches of weak demand, sales is in general, and the enterprises operating rate is also lower. Because of propylene oxide market prices of raw materials continued decline, soft foam polyether market also following fell. PO, PPG is really the fellow sufferers. Sponge manufacturers interviewed said that no "benefit" plans to reduce the demand for them is the main reason.
