FOR CHRIST SAKES, WE'RE WAITING!!!!!! All I keep hearing from astralwerks is "we will announce chems dates soon", and they've been saying that since January. Im tired of telling all the European forumers how jealous I am. Its our time!
And Tom and Ed Im not yelling at you, Im yelling at your U.S. label, who loves to whore you on myspace, but feeds us lies about booking US tour dates.

I shot a message over to Errol at myspace after the whole 100,000+ posts thing. I was awaiting approval of my message, which went along the lines of "please say it's not so that the friend count has to go up in order for us to get U.S. dates" along with a lil shout to a Rocker Bean who posted about the artwork for the new album was not up to standard. Needless to say, my message wasn't approved - but I got a note back saying that boosting the friend count = US dates wasn't what was meant at all.
I also wrote back asking when myspace was going to get a facelift, because Push The Button artwork is looking a bit stale in the wake of the new album. From what I was told on the 11th, very briefly, that it would be "hopefully soon, waiting on UK dates etc" and that Errol was tired of waiting too.
I guess the WAiTiN' game is still on for the dates. I plan on taking a week for when the Chems (god willing) visit the west coast. I just hope it's soon when we find out the dates because I'd like to arrange the time off work without any hassle.

It is getting a little late I must admit. Promises promises....I've heard nothing of a Aussie tour yet which makes me think that I'm gonna have to wait for the big day out line up release 'cos literally nothing has been said... I was really hoping a non festival tour.

"I just hope it's soon when we find out the dates because I'd like to arrange the time off work without any hassle. "
exactly, I would like to attend more then one of the concerts (that is if they have more then one, i hope). So that requires me to schedule some travel time, and try and get some resonably priced air fare.
They have to have "some" dates scheduled....why not just announce them.

I hear ya, kwiddle! I don't think the Chems did a non festival show in Australia since Come With Us. I imagine Big Day Out is loads of fun, and the Chems like playing fests, but festivals have their share of pros and cons.
Bosco - it is so aggravating, I feel ya - it is hard to plan on short notice with work, school and everything else. I'm dying to get the ball rolling toward that light at the end of the tunnel. I'm hoping for September, mid to late for when the Chems come to the US. A little bird told irishfan that some months ago, but... At least airfare should be cheaper in September since it's off peak.
Or maybe the Chems will do Coachella again next spring?

Maybe a little reverse psychology would work...
Please do NOT announce the US dates now! It definitely wouldn't make me happy and I don't need to plan ahead with my job at all! Don't you dare announce those US dates!!!
Actually, my prediction is that they'll announce each new US date an hour before the event, resulting in mass hysteria, crushed dreams, and trampled glowsticks.
