Reading this thread is like taking a trip back in time... Old threads that no one cares about? Aw come on. For better or worse it has all the makings of what makes this forum such a great place - the reviews of their shows and seeing how people respond (even to Ed's dancing, haha). Even better is getting Ed's perspective on the gig as this must've been such an important and honorable event for them to be part of.

Thanks for reviving the thread, Ryno - and thanks for the link!! Believe just freaks me out. Serioulsy. What's it you folks say in the UK? It's an absolute 'corker' live!

As for Bernard Sumner playing on stage with the Chems - the dream of him singing Out Of Control was realized, eventually. :D

Bruised apples in the crowd be damned. As someone in this thread pointed out nearly 4 years ago in so many words, focus on the good not the bad.

...yet another show i had the misfortune of missing in my area. either way, it looks like they got a good crowd response for that video. but, man was believe so much more intense this last tour. i still hear the bit-crushed boom-boom when i go to sleep at night...

I think Believe caused me to rupture my vocal chords twice. Once in 2005 and again in 2007. You'd think I would've learned my lesson in 2005, but no.

The day after both shows I went to, my voice was completely gone.

I listened to Believe from last tour a few times last week - gets the hairs on the back of the neck standing every time, without fail.
