yeah man, where'd ya hear that? I don't doubt you, I'm just curious about where you found this out as it has been a big secret at radio 1 for some time.

*sighs* wish it wasn't as far away as sunderland (practically the furthest possible place away from me within england!) :( [/img]

Isn't it terrible when there is a major event up north and Londoners have to travel outside of the capital to reach it?? Moaning bastards...

There Doesnt seem to be specific Days this year, well, they have not been named as such anyway. The chems will be the Dance band on the saturday, and the basement jaxx will be the dance band on the sunday.

Saturday Seems to be Dance and Rock

Sunday Seems to be Pop and Rock

i think this is a pretty wank way to set it up, birmingham was ace with just all dance on the saturday and rock on sunday. ithink theyve done it so that they can make space for more pop. It is also rather annoying that the bands have the biggest presence over BOTH of the days.

The Chems are playing this event, dunno if its a live or dj set however, its sucks that you have to go to sunderland to get tickets!

sorry it has taken ages to reply but the internet has been down at college for the week. i got my sources from the lemonjelly website. i didn't bother to question the validity of the statement. also as i mentioned steve lymac two thursdays ago mentioned there was going to be a big announcement about the chemical brothers. wanted to post it as soon as i heard it but didn't get chance. i put two and two together and it seemed the logical answer when one big weekend was announced

radio 1 has been saying it is a "full live set"

after all the chems aren't famous for dj sets on radio 1 but for there music, and with the new album they are capitalising on the new popularity the chems have brought

Now then, now then, calm down ye northern brethren! I'm sure you're aware that due to the shite british rail system I would practically have to re-mortgage my house (if I had a house) to travel up to the back of beyond, er, sorry Sunderland, just for the tickets..... only to do the same trek again a week later! I'm perfectly happy to travel out of London - I'm from New Zealand fer gawds sake! But I have my limits! :P
