It's obvious P & P are enjoying the show more than anyone else, but the audio quality is awesome (cuts in and out towards the middle half though) Finally getting around to listening to these great live shows everyone was raving about a year ago.

Awwwww, Orbital in the daytime. Damnit. That just doesn't work. Electronic music in general doesn't work well in the daytime. But yes--I was very, *very* sad I missed their only U.S. show I could have gone to last year, but very, very glad I managed to catch them in 2010.
**Watching this right now, and the crowd didn't follow the very cheesy bit into the 80's tracks that they play in Halcyon live. They were more confused than anything else. Admittedly, it's cheesy, and only works when everyone is in the right mood to go with it. They have played Halcyon further into their sets in previous tours, and I think that it certainly works better later on. Too much cheese too early is a bad thing...

Well of course you're welcome, but I'm surprised you were able to find that on an essential mix from 2005 so quickly. I usually only listen to those mixes once and then forget them. Impressive trainspotting skills madpooter.

Thanks! There was about a gigabyte or two of electronic music shuffling through my Winamp Playlist (lawl winamp) around 2005 while I played Warcraft III. That Essential Mix was one of them. Easy to recognize when you've heard it 30-40 times.

Anyway, here is one of Cut Copy's new tracks. Does anyone else here that Chem Bros sample? (It's too hard to miss really).

Interesting to see that the track after Tom's on that youtube clip is the same one the Felix Da Housecat had mixed into 'Pleasure' on his soundcloud, as mentioned on the Tom EP thread a little while ago (the track being Goldfisch: Kolsch)

yeah seems to be the track of the moment with the big DJs. Ive been hearing it everywhere now. All from the usual suspects/trailblazers in the DJ world. Its not blended or before/after the track though. He drops it later in the mix with an accapella of his...
