i've been clearing out my converted loft room today. i'm getting ready to decorate it as a dedicated music room. about time to cos since i moved into my house last november i have not set up my decks or had a mix, its a sorry story. anyway i found a music cassette which is amazing in it self cos i binned 99% of my tapes years ago, and lost a few gems along the way.

the tape was labled 'at home with the chemical brothers'. i think it was an hour long radio one show called 'all back to mine'. i reckon this was aired around 96/97. its a look at what shapes their taste much like the breezeblock show but far more boombastic! its a great find cos i have never seen a recording of this on the internet.

hopefully i will find a decent tape deck in the near future to rip it. and i'll get put on to the ftp and the mixing bowl.

it's been a good week for finding stuff. i have been looking for a video recording of the chems live at the bizarre festival 2002 for the past year, and i got a dvd copy of it thru the post today. now all i need is the glastonbury 2000 video

Good work sneaks. Nothing better than finding an old cd or tape ( Nostalgia! ) with something cool on it. I love the interviews from the Chems from ages ago. It's fun to read how they see themselves in the future " Is there life after 30 ?! " and they are still rocking as hard as they did than.

As a side, it's always interesting moving and cleaning out closets and such. You find the coolest stuff that way - then the next thing you know you've lost a couple of hours spent not cleaning, but reminiscing. Good stuff. it's about time you dedicated a room to do your mixes in sneaks!

yep its sean rowley program! i found a bit on the web about this show, you can also listen to some snippets of the interview. i think this may have been recorded in 1999 just reading the page.
