Cue Blanka's theme music!

My Money is on Germany (literally). The Dutch looked tough yesterday vs Spain.

England trending downwards? Uruguay cant get the job done missing Suarez. France a huge favorite today vs. Honduras. And the team everyone is waiting to see later today.... ARGENTINA

P.S. switching tune to the NBA.... Spurs lead 3-1 over the Heat in the Finals. Finish them!

Happy Fathers Day Y'all

A brave decision to put money on a European team. Usually when the World Cup is held in the Americas, a South American team wins it, and when it's in Europe a European team wins it. Having said that, Germany are very good. But yeah, lets see what Argentina look like.

We have a sweepstake at work; I pulled USA out of the hat. Goodbye five pounds.

Its been a great world cup so far. Loads of goals and excitement. Even if we did lose to Italy, i think we can play a big part in this tournament

I find it funny that the first ever goal to be validated by the goal line technology was for France.
Aside from that, yeah very nice so far, lots of goals and a very open world cup, anyone could win. But I'd say Brazil is going to win in the end, against Argentina in final.

There's been loads of shocks and great football and the tournament seems really open but its going to be Italy Germany Brazil and Argentina in the semi's. Business as usual.
If anyone else is to sneak in i would say only the Dutch have a chance

Well you won Jeanie! But we are all proud of our team and Cahill's moves. Even got a Liverpool mention on there page about it.
Come out from the cold and into the setting sun. It's where it all began for me (not in Afrika), like it was out of control. Then after that life was sweet. So dream on into the pioneer skies of the fourteenth century and rise from the sunshine underground.

ah well, thats that then. we werent crap but we werent good enough. No shame in losing to italy and uruguay. and now that costa rica have beaten the other two, there's no shame if we lose to them but the press wont see it that way.

I am now supporting the dutch due to the Van Gaal connection.

And brazil because its the team our dept at work has drawn out in the "decorate the desks in team colours" palaver.

Time to enjoy the festival of football now.

i think its time for this:
