HAHA Mate dont you worry!

So when were talking to Tom , about half an our/ 45 minutes before i had taken my 2nd Rizla Bomb. Needles to say by the time we talked to him i was rushing my ass off. At one point i wanted to ask something an all i said was "Bwablabla!" too wich he replied with "Oh , Bhwablabla ?! " or something like that. It was quite funny actually , dont be ashamed , it was NYE and our big party night , it all ads up to the comedy factor ;)

I'm sure we were not even half as fucked as some of the people in that club that nite!

Western Canada starts at Thunder Bay, my man! And everytime someone gets in my car, they get a Chemical education followed by Chemical appreciation (if not quite Chemical obsession like me).

Save that cash and do it up next year. I'm going to work like a mofo over the summer so next fall I don't have to bitch out when tickets go on sale. Hopefully I might be able to convince a friend or two or more to make the leap.

Chemicalfan - no matter how fucked up you were, take solace in the fact that he has probably seen or experienced far worse!

that's it! that's why they like the forumites -- entertainment!
He put on a turn-down collar, a black bow, and wore his Sunday tail-coat. As such, he looked spruce, and what his clothes would not do, his instinct for making the most of his good looks would.

Was going to write an indepth review of the whole evening, but I think that most of the stories have allready been told.

Highs.....

* Spoons, great to see some of you again and catch up, Joslyn really good to meet you, As allways Mips a pleassure, Jeanie cool as allways, Irishfan great to catch up, Brian hes as mad in real life as he is on the forum and everyone else who was there great to seen you!

* Anils set, really great to arrive at turnmills and here this top guy rocking it from early on, technically a great dj, tune selection was also top notch, by the time he had finnished the dance floor was busy, cant wait to see him play again.

* Nathan Detroit, hereing him rocking again reminded me very much of summercase.

* Opening with music response - this really did shake the turnmills sound system.

* Toms over and over bootleg.

* The midnight tune, about 5 secs before midnight Ed told me to turn around so I did really to witness the fireworks in the club again, this tune did rock, from what I can remember there was some vocal element.

* These chemical are good sample, really dig this twisted vocal.

* Doppelwhipper, really glad when the chems dropped this, has to be one of the tunes of the year, really glad to here the boys keeping in touch with the current dance floor destroyers.

* Tom offering me some champers, I had to turn it down this year, didnt fancy reliving last years dramas!

* EBW9, again this sounded sick on a large sound system, you can tell that the chems have a real awareness of how tunes work on the dance floor, this one deffo does.

* Ed passing me a copy of EBW8&9, really really kind of him, I allready had the recored so I passed it on to irishfan.

* Chatting to the brothers, really good to get an inslite into whats going on and whats going to be happening in the future.

* Cadgedbaby, rocking it the ableton way, going down the electro route!

* Justins set, opening with the animal song was just incredible, I really dig this track I cant wait to here it finnished one day, he also dropped EBW8 as well as much more pumping acid house.

Lows.......

* Leaving so early, I still had the energy and wanted to catch more of Justins set.

* The night flashing past, all the hype and anticipation before hand, then the night seemed to go so fast.

* The absense of some of you guys, shame that some of you couldnt make it, hopefully next time or next big chems gig some more of you will here there.

Overall.......

* Top night, great to see you all, excellent set from the chems, anil excellent, justin excellent, great to speak to chems, thanx to everyone who made it esspecially Tom and Ed.

Going on Holiday today guys and girls so having a break from the forum for a short while, take care everyone, speak soon.

[/list]

hello all, thought i would add my 2$ now that everything has been covered

After a really shit christmas i'm glad that NYE was on the horizon. Even the train ride into london feels really nostalgic. For the first time in 3 years i managed to get lost on the way to Turnmills, even though it is pretty much a straight road from Kingscross/Euston. Some how managed to end up round the back of the club and thanks to the taxi driver who gave me the 'Turn left at the traffic lights, then next left then it's on your left' directions.

Big shout out to all the polish employees at turnmills who just stand there smoking and texting away, pointing you in some strange direction without speaking a single word of English. That's very skilled of them.

Nice to meet up with you all, and to finally put faces to names, even if i can't remember any of them.

The music was very good - Pure and Simple, nothing else needs explaining

Loved the new lighting they had compared to last year. I have a thing for lasers and this year they were amazing. Also nice to see the person who did all the lighting looking as though he was having a good time, rather than the miserable bastard they had last year.

Thanks to all the dj's, bar staff and the chemical for letting me take their picture. I always wait till they're not busy and get there permission before i take any pictures, so if it weren't for them saying yes i wouldn't have these pictures.

It was annoying that for the first time in 3 years they decided to put bouncers at the front of ther stage which ment that everyone got pushed back making it more crowded. Also i love the fact that Turnmills use cliche black men wearing all black to stand there, who don't acknowledge anybody yet allow the 'fit' girls to dance on the speakers. Classic !

Quite chuffed at the fact that i was solely responcible for the big gree glow sticks that people were dancing with. I had 5 of them and gave them away to random people- Of which i gave 2 to Two Slavakian Lesbians who i thought would move away from me, as they were crowding me, if i gave them something. They did, but the one kept coming back to speak to me, which is rather annoying when you're trying to dance and can hear fuck all because of the music. What was priceless though, and me laugh inside, was that the tall dyke gave me a kiss on the cheek to say thankyou for the glow stick (hours after i gave it to her). I noticed that after she had done this her girlfriend who was standing on the base box had stopped dancing and had a right face on her as she strred over. he he he he he. I quickly moved away.

Great talking to Tom and Ed, can't wait to see them in Falmouth- As they promised :D

Weren't impressed with the New Years confetti thing. I was minding my own buisness, dancing away, and when the ballon went off i felf either a burning sensation or a really sharp object hit my eye. Either the explosive bit of the balloon hit my eye or some confetti hit my eye before i could blink. That really fuckin hurt. Whilst everyone was being all merry giving huggs and kisses, i was standing there like a lemon rubbing my left eye. I see a small claims court on the horizon

Didn't enjoy the lack of Subway the morning after because it was closed, so resorted to horible McDonalds which didn't open till 8. Getting kicked by a Police Officer in Euston whilst trying to rest !

Nice sleepy train journey back to Tamworth was nice, although having to wait at birmingham for 1.5 hours wasn't fun.

Cancelled New Years dinner at Families so went to a Bryers Fayre Pub and had 6 pints and a nice meal (and eveyone elses). Finally got to sleep around 10pm that night

Almost missed my train back to Falmouth which took over 8 hours of travelling and waiting in Plymouth for an hour with no money.

That's about it from me. Had loads of cool pictures to post but forgot to bring the lead to go with my Walkman so will do it tomorrow.
Even a stopped clock gives the right time twice a day

Okay let me rephrase that....alberta....I feel like the only chems lover in alberta......

plus my roomate and my friends say the same thing about me. I mentioned that I posted here and they automatically tell me they think I moderate the board.....well not yet.....probably never.....

I give them a chemical history, a chemical oral review, and then expect them to remeber.....yah I'm a freak.....

only 361 days left till next nye! Working 2 jobs already to save up for at least one live show and NYE. Before then there is alot of big things coming from tom and ed.

nice pics jeanie. love the spoons one in particular
