I done my first gig on Wednesday night, it was a bit of a disgrace to be honest, so poorly organised/planned.

No crowd AT ALL, place was dead. :(

However that isn't to say the set was bad, it was actually really good, up til the point where me and my partner just decided to do it back to back with the tunes we liked because it isn't every day we get to use a allen heath xone62

which by the way, was fuckin unreal, I am in love with these things now. The soundsystem was pretty good too, at about 11.30 we just played bass tunes to see what they were like on the big system.

Anyway yeah djing out is great I wanna do it again. :D

Myself and Mike started playing in a pub/bar, which was ushually dead, in the last 3 years its taken us a little while to get where we are, but worth the wait. Just keep pushing yourself foxboy.

Haha! Thanks guys! :D

It was only a pre-formal, I haven't got a residency or anything, but my friend is close to a friday night residency in a club in his local town and we DJ together, hopefully we start to produce soon and stuff and do things with music, that is something we'd really love to do. So hopefully after he establishes himself in the club we can do it back to back and then when we can get some of our own tunes on the rip :)

I just bought a MacBook Pro there along with a Time Capsule, Ipod, Photosmart printer, was expensive but I think the MacBook Pro will basically cover my computer needs in regards to online browsing and music production if I ever decide to do something in regards to that :D

you have to be prepared to that kind of problem. I had the same problem last time I played. My first time was in a full (yet small) club though. And that was awesome !

Don't worry your time will come ;) your sets rock
