sounds like that guy from 'The Office'

yes! he's very very much like him actually, a penchant for complete exageration and delusions of grandeur. but at the same time quite likeable.

still, he gave me his muesli bar again today. which was nice 8)

Has anyone got any ideas for a video (an easy to make one!) that I will then have to create a one minute soundtrack too using Pro Logic?

I'm not even getting marked on the video (its a music module) but its not allowed to be boring and rubbish... I want to make a house/techy track so something that kind of relative to that....

Anyone?

hey, I was in Switzerland last month doing the same thing!! ;-) I think a couple of the board members saw them whilst we were in London, apart from the reflection of the camera in the window I was quite pleased with them.

Yeah, you had a few shots that definetly could've been mistaken for Star Guitar frames!

Eeeek! I'm doing some photography at The Key (ex bagleys, Kings X) tonight for a free London dance culture mag One Week To Live! The thing is I have to use my very non professional digital cam, so i hope they come out alright... :? And I have to write a review - Hope I remember stuff!

It should be a good night, free guestlist of course! But then I have to start work @ 11am sunday... I'm gonna be a zombie!

I'd dig seeing the pics, Girlelectric. 8)

I just got back from the dentist. Good times. Where my old filling fell out around a month ago, they had to put in a temporary crown today - then in 3 weeks I go to have my permanent crown put on. Then a small crack was found in the tooth in front of the one they're working on, and eventually a crown will have to be put on that. Blah. Dentists are making a big profit off my mouth!

They gave me so much novacaine that half my throat is numb so drinking anything feels weird and my lips feel fat and tingly. And I'm talking funny. X-D

Hahahahahahah this is so funny, James Blunt won an award at the NRJ Music Awards (yeah I know, that sucks) and he just said in french "Je chante comme une petite fille" which means "I sing like a little girl" :D

what? b'day for whirly? when when when?? :)

- just watched a cool documentary called 'the corporpation' and its got noel chomsky, naomi klein (no logo) and michael moore in it - really cool film, lays out the problems of big business and corporations, why theres problems there and what can be done about it. its a little bit dry and long, but if u stick with its its really interesting, and very informative.

I've been meaning to watch 'The Corporation' for ages now, just never get around to doing it (plus, I'm loathe to pay to rent a documentary). Will have to see it soon.

Read 'No Logo' finally over this past summer. Great read.

My birthday's not til the 29th, but Friday was paydirt so we splurged a week early. But really I can't be too thrilled with delving deeper into the 30-something years. :P

I dig my new bike. It's a cheap one, just to get me back into riding again since it's been about 15 years since I rode a bike regularly. But it's cool - blue and silver mountain bike with springy suspension so it's bouncy. It's my reward for reaching a sort of physical goal this past year - time to get some excercize.

Anyway, speaking of documentaries, there's this one called Grizzly Man that I saw part of the other night (it was late and I ended up crashing before it was over) It's about this guy whose whole life revolved around filming documentaries of grizzly bears - this real cocky nut actually - and as irony would have it, he got eaten by the grizzlies... oh... sorry, I just gave away the ending. naomi klein rules... as well as Noam.... there's a new doc out here, they actually put it on the BBC, called 'Why We Fight', that's just a scathing indictment of the military industrial complex.

I read an interview with the director, he said something along the lines of 'It's not that people are apathetic, it's just that we are truly helpless'

I just saw a really good documentary that just aired on PBS about a week ago, it was called "Country Boys", it was about these two boys growing up in Appalachia. I thought it was going to be pretty dumb but was pleasently suprised. It aired 3 nights each episode was 2 hours. I think it might be free to watch on the website, but havent fully checked it out yet.....anyways here is the website....if anyone might be interested

i am fuckin sick of college.

3 years through a 4 year course, this term has had nothing which fires the imagination.

i keep getting this horrible feeling that i should be actually workin in a studio and getting some proper experience rather than fannying about with electronics modules and essays on serialism.

add to that factor no money and general boredom threshold and u get a slighlty miffed mippio.

on the upside, not long to go now i guess. and if i ever decide to go into a 'regular' job at least ill have a degree.

add to that I'm a dead spit of jimmy somerville and have a boredom threshold a fish would be proud of and you get a slighly muffy mippio.

on the upside I only have to work two days a week and if i ever decide to get a proper job at least I'll have spent years playing with my navel and laughing like sid james.
