But very bad quality... I say 3 on the scale...
Edit : OMG, a great concert, better than the Electric Zoo, too bad for the quality...
Hi. I taped the show. I think it came out really good actually. Can you explain why you would give it a 3/10 and point me to something you think is better?
Thanks.

I'll let you know Kingblends!
Update!
Its actually not that bad! Was this your first set rip btw? If so, thanx for the upload.
Thanks. No this was not my first recording. Something like my 41st. First time recording at the fox though.

There are some skips throughout the recording, though. I'm not sure if it's from a slightly corrupted download (it got to 99.9% from the torrent off The Mixing Bowl but I could play it just fine), but it's a bit jarring at times.
Otherwise, great listen, thank you VERY MUCH for recording.

Ah yes there is. Especially towards the end. That happens with my rig sometimes when I am moving around alot. I was trying to do the whole show in HD video but these jerks went and stood right in my way towards the end and I had to move to a different spot. Then I had to fix the audio but cutting out the messed up parts. You are right though.
But as for the other things that can detract from a recording I thought the crowd noise was great. Nobody was hooting or hollering next to me which was fantastic. That bugs me the most about live recordings I think.
Thanks.

Anyway, for the Further tour around I chose not to listen to recordings or watch youtube clips of their live sets before I saw them live for myself. This was partly because I wanted there to be some elements of surprise, and I didn't want to have any preconceived ideas on what I thought their show to be like. The other reason for me to restrain myself from viewing or listening to the gigs beforehand (which proved to be quite excruciating, really, don't know if I'll be able to put myself through that torture again!) was based on one little transition going into Believe during the We Are The Night tour. As I was gearing up to see their show a couple of years ago, I listened to a German recording of the gig. And that transition came in and I was so disappointed and blabbed about it here. Once I got to hear it for myself at their show and be in that moment, everything changed...
So anyway, sorry if this came off as a lecture, as that's not my intention at all - I just wanted to chime in. The Chems sets evolve so maybe there's a chance some things will be re-worked for the Europe shows. I really hope the show, once you're there and in the moment, will be everything but a bad listening experience!

agree! i also thought that some of the segues are that nice.
from a dj view: galvanize (100-105 bpm) into another world (around 120) is hard to match with, even for the chems . i mean it's not impossible. just listen to galvanzie>burst generator. same problem, but they solved the problem more intelligent, with more flow, i think. last beats of galvanize > drum roll of burst generator > burst generator. et voilĂ !
this time they just layer the last bass drum from galvanize over the first from another world. then they begin to just pitch up another world. some of the dj's here around also will know about this "problem". djing with mp3 software (traktor, serato) or doing a liveset can solve the problem with fading out and put some effects over it (echo, delay n stuff).

KingsBlend, you did a good job on the bootleg. Great quality. It would've been perfect if it weren't for all that skipping that happened when you moved. Kinda ruined K+D+B and the best part of Star Guitar.

Thanks. Yeah I did the best I could in post editing to make it appear seamless. Star Guitar was the worst. That was actually when some people came down the aisle to the front of the balcony and directly in my line of sight while I was filming. So I had to get up and tell them to get the fuck out of the way so I could keep filming. So that skip I actually had to edit out my screaming at them to move. And during my favorite song too I had to split the video. I was not happy.

No it was: Man I can't find a good spot to shoot video. Grrr. Well I'll just go sit in my seat. Oh hey this isn't so bad. Ok I found a good unobstructed view and a shot I like. Keep filming. Oh my god its coming out so good. Oh yes, Star Guitar! Wait...who are these people? What? You guys are going to stand right in the aisle right there?.......Stop camera. Gather stuff. "HEY FIND A FUCKING SEAT AND GET OUT OF THE WAY!!!"...go sit down.....resume video. Well I'm just going to have to edit the audio later.
If I was only doing the audio it wouldn't have bothered me so much and I would have just let it slide to get that flawless audio but since I was really going for a complete show with the video I really wanted that to happen more than the audio. The audio was just a consolation prize so I didn't care if it had skips and gaps.
