The cops started out alright, letting him know that if he just put his clothes back on he could go on enjoying the festival.. but then it all turned to shit...

Jesus Christ. I couldn't finish watching that. I think the man being naked amplified his vulnerability which makes this incident all the more sad. I'm sorry. I just couldn't finish watching such an unfair fight.

Those officers were out of line plain and simple. The naked man was probably frying big time, but he was unarmed (obviously) and posed not real and present danger to anyone. His crime was being naked and being a bit mouthy to the cops which does not justify the use of tazers. Those cops need to be taken off the beat and go back to basic training. The 3 officers were not little men - they could have easily restrained this man relatively quickly without causing pain... and more of a scene than the naked man did.

Maboul, I've not seen fully naked women at Coachella but I have seen some who were topless and nobody bats an eye (they are just told by the cops - if they see them - to cover up). I think if it had been a naked woman instead of a naked man, she a) would not have been tazered and b.) all hell would have broken loose and there'd already be a lawsuit against the city of Indio if she had been tazered.
