In my quest to hear all chemical brothers tracks at least once I ran into problems to get my hands on a couple of rarities, do you guys have heard:

Left Right (Instrumental) http://www.discogs.c...release/3011786
Guitar Tuned To D http://www.discogs.c...release/6583327
Minimix Electronic Battle Weapon (BBC Radio 1) (07:11) http://chemicalbeats...electronic.html
Life Is Sweet (Remix 1) http://www.discogs.c...-/release/58816
Chico's Groove (Mix 2) http://www.discogs.c...-/release/58816

I've already found these today:

Pick It Up Y'All (Dust Brothers No Rap)
Pick It Up Y'All (Dust Brothers Dub)
Pick It Up Y'all (Dust Brothers Edit)
Pick It Up Y'all (Dust Brothers Vocal Mix)

Man, this feels like falling in love again! Please post tracks you've (re)discovered or links to the track's I'm looking for.

Cool! I like the fact that I can still discover new stuff by browsing through discogs and typing it into youtube. Do you still discover new/old stuff Pumisher? I don't know how I missed Swiper, that track is heavy! I't like not knowing Don't think from the Further era (both being badass b sides)

That one's ridiculously rare, I don't think anyone's heard it except the owner.

Pulled some strings! I'm in contact with a source who I'm going to keep very much unnamed for the time being. They'd like to share it but they're worried about widespread internet release or people bootlegging the material, since there's a possibility that it could be traced back to them. If I do get a copy of this, I need your guy's explicit word that you won't share the demo to anyone else in any capacity at all.

By the way, if you guys would like to say hello to this source to affirm your trustworthiness and general likability , I'll show the source your responses to help sweeten the deal.

BTW, source says they find the demo better than the official release (!!!!).

A longer version of Surface 2 Air? The third best song from the brothers (after Star Guitar and the live version of Snow/Surface 2 Air (i don't count K+D+B in here because it's godlike and that would be unfair))? I've wet my pants already...

One of their best works, in raw form!! and somewhere available.. I am wondering who this contact might be..
Anyhow.. would love to hear it!! If what they say is only half true.. it must be one epic track!

Even if it spreads, it wouldn't be that big a deal. I mean, it was obviously a promo from before Push The Button was released, and it was watermarked so that it would not leak at that time. Now, 10 years after PTB was released, I don't think they would care as much. It's now a piece of Chemical history :D

Hello Source, whoever you might be!

Surface To Air is one of my absolute favourite songs which strikes me with awe whenever I hear it.
I'd love to hear the extended/unmastered version!
You have my word that I'll never share it with anyone else.

No news yet, I'm refreshing my inbox rather frequently.

Hello lurkers! Unfortunately I might not be able to get this demo to everyone, so if I don't recognize you or you haven't had an account here for more than a year, you probably won't get access... sorry about that. Source wants it to be covert and all. Brother1 and i0ne, you're good though.

Exactly, I explained that. It's possible the source works for the record company at some level, so if the label found out, there's a really slight chance they could get reprimanded. I don't think this is the case though.

Here's something weird too, the S2A demo actually aired on KCRW in September 2004. So it seems the demo was made for the public to hear... but three months before the album was officially announced, in a country they're not touring in? And the demo was actually well-known enough for a Dutch blogger to hear it and correctly trainspot Guitar Tuned To D at a show 10 days after the broadcast. Can't find any other info, but at least there's proof the demo wasn't only an internal thing.
