That one's ridiculously rare, I don't think anyone's heard it except the owner.

Pulled some strings! I'm in contact with a source who I'm going to keep very much unnamed for the time being. They'd like to share it but they're worried about widespread internet release or people bootlegging the material, since there's a possibility that it could be traced back to them. If I do get a copy of this, I need your guy's explicit word that you won't share the demo to anyone else in any capacity at all.
By the way, if you guys would like to say hello to this source to affirm your trustworthiness and general likability , I'll show the source your responses to help sweeten the deal.
BTW, source says they find the demo better than the official release (!!!!).

Holy mother of music,
How is this even possible haha!
One of their best works, in raw form!! and somewhere available.. I am wondering who this contact might be..
Anyhow.. would love to hear it!! If what they say is only half true.. it must be one epic track!
If you could show me the way.. I'll show my trustworthiness

Hello Source, whoever you might be!
Surface To Air is one of my absolute favourite songs which strikes me with awe whenever I hear it.
I'd love to hear the extended/unmastered version!
You have my word that I'll never share it with anyone else.

Hello lurkers! Unfortunately I might not be able to get this demo to everyone, so if I don't recognize you or you haven't had an account here for more than a year, you probably won't get access... sorry about that. Source wants it to be covert and all. Brother1 and i0ne, you're good though.

Exactly, I explained that. It's possible the source works for the record company at some level, so if the label found out, there's a really slight chance they could get reprimanded. I don't think this is the case though.
Here's something weird too, the S2A demo actually aired on KCRW in September 2004. So it seems the demo was made for the public to hear... but three months before the album was officially announced, in a country they're not touring in? And the demo was actually well-known enough for a Dutch blogger to hear it and correctly trainspot Guitar Tuned To D at a show 10 days after the broadcast. Can't find any other info, but at least there's proof the demo wasn't only an internal thing.
