Relax X-D That song is pretty good, I think some of u guys described it as the 'underwater' song before. It has that cool, relaxing, sort of trippy feel to it. But the best part of it is the ending, where they mixed it up with 'Hoops' and the lyrics start - "Here I go 'round again-again-again..."

For those of you that have no idea what are we talking about - It is the actual live recording of Chems concert in Chile on October 2004.

If you want to listen to it this is a good link:

It is about 58 meg file, so it is gonna take u abot 3 and a half hours to download it if u have a 56k dail-up. It is worth it because the concert is 1 hour and 25 min long.

It is a great track which I'm looking forward to. The intro noises remind me of that 'popcorn' song (the sound as opposed to the actual notes!). Also, I like how uplifting it is, they've made tracks with pounding beats and they've made relaxing downtempo music - I like how star guitar (and maybe this track) are the perfect balance between the two 8) .

we think this track is the last track on the album, surface to air. anyone think that synth line that goes up and down, in and out sounds a bit like a helicopter?? kinda track title like surface to air makes me think of missiles, maybe shooting out the sky helicopters. the complete opposite beauty to the track

I just think it's like the decreasing pressure when you are surfacing from underwater. The start of the Test video comes to my mind. Dark and light things flowing underwater and slowly rising to the top.

It reminds me a bit of the nicer Joy Division/New Order stuff too. Beautiful track - what a way to end an album!

To reiterate: The download of the gig is worth the wait!! Do it. Do it now.

I can't wait to hear what it sounds like on the record. And live, of course. Then I can experience what I've been missing these last few months...

i just wonder if this is gonna be the long epic end of album track. i think the live version i quite short, but i could see this expanded for the grand finale!!!

Nothing like ending a record with an epic journey a la The Private Psychadelic Reel. Something that leaves you with a feeling of "aaaaahhhhhh" as you drift into space.

The wait for this record is excruciating!

I downloaded the chile set and noticed that this track was a little shorter aswell compared to most their tracks at the end of their albums being on the longer side. I also noticed that alot of their tracks on the set were cut short, so I don't have any worries about their last song on the new album not being epic. I would have to say that when I heard this track for the first time that I almost shit my pants. It's a damn beautiful record that has me in more anticipation for an album then any other. EVER.

Astralwerks site mentioned somewhere that it's a 7-minute epic.

7 minutes are not very "epic" . they are just... well a standard time.

and the time of the song on th chile set is around 5:12 min (until the hoops samples enter).

I heard the Chile show on the radio yesterday, and it's indeed a great track. Hope it's on the album.

Anyway, why was Setting Sun so short on that gig? It lasted like 2 minutes.

Strange, when I heard the first notes of the "Underwater Song", I thought it was The Golden Path.

But I realized soon enough that it was a complete different song.

Quite beautiful one, indeed.
