And it is shown in Dresden? Where's the list to this? On the donthinkmovie-site only Berlin is listed for germany.

edit:
OK, UCI is showing it in a lot more cinemas in germany, so i have the chance to watch it in cologne. thumps up.

edit2:
so it premiers january 26th in berlin and is shown 8 days later in other citys? what a crap, i do think (or at least hope) the dvd/bluray will be available til this date so i don't have to pay 10€ for seeing it at a crapy cinema (yes, UCI Hürth is one of the worst cinemas i've ever been to and you are forced to drive to it by car - no alcohol for at least one person - because there's no public transport to this area).

I have 5.1 but will seriously consider purchasing a 7.1 system once this is released. See, Tom and Ed are good for the economy!

My amp is 7.1 but I only have 5.1 speakers so I double amp the main front left and right, I might have to look at 2 more speakers now!

This isn't official news, but the run time for this might really be 1 hr 45 mins instead of 1 hr 25 mins!

On Rotten Tomatoes (nice, InChem  ) I noticed they listed the run time for Don't Think as 1 hour 45 minutes. Searched around to see if there were any other sources that said that. Guess what, there are actually more sites that say 1:45 than 1:25, by about a 3:2 ratio.

The sites that have 1:25 are mostly advance screening pages, but the 1:45 ones are from all over, some from the advance screening pages, some from regular release pages, and some from main sites like RT and Yahoo Movies. There's a few oddballs too: Zurich says it's 2 hours and Amsterdam says 2 hrs 15 mins

Don't Think's run time has not been officially announced yet, so this is pretty interesting... if it's true, I wonder what the extra 20 minutes will be for?

I was thinking the same thing. 85 minutes thru the Chemical website, 135 minutes according the the cinema but the screening is from 21:00 till 24:00, a whopping 3 hours. What's up with that?

from http://www.empireonl...y.asp?NID=32656

[qoute]Chemical Brothers concert flick Don’t Think is shaping up to be an eyeball disco for music fans of all ilks. Director Adam Smith used 20 cameras to do for the Chemicals what Jonathan Demme did for Talking Heads and looks like giving the clubbing generation its own Stop Making Sense. Check out the trailer below to see what we mean.

Smith, who's been designing visuals for The Chemical Brothers since their Dust Brother days 18 years ago, shot the duo on one night at Japan's Fuji Rock festival. Fifty hours of footage were then edited down into a maelstrom of dance music, eyepopping visuals and, as the director puts it, "moments of joy, fear and mad escapism".

"Normally at concert films it's just people gurning into the camera", Smith tells Empire, "but this was different. We put five or six cameras just in the audience - little Canon 5Ds - and had little signs on the cameras telling people not to look at the cameras, just to enjoy the show. And they did exactly that."

According to the director, the visual dimension is the game-changer that'll keep even dance music agnostics happy: "It's a big cinematic experience. Even if you're not a Chemical Brothers fan, you'll go see their show and I hope the film has the same effect."

Don’t Think gets a wide screen release on February 1 so you won’t even have to brave the Glastonbury mud to see your favourite electronic masters in action.

I'm not sure if I can fly up to Sydney for the advanced screening event although would be a good excuse to go up there for a holiday. But hoping it will be shown at a decent cinema here in Melbourne on the official release date "The Manchester of Australia" - Ed Chemical.
Come out from the cold and into the setting sun. It's where it all began for me (not in Afrika), like it was out of control. Then after that life was sweet. So dream on into the pioneer skies of the fourteenth century and rise from the sunshine underground.
