Oh my god. After-The-Sunglasses track is such a monster!

The new TPPR (which reminds me of Underworld's Kittens) kicks ass too; need to get a high-quality recording though.

"Last Track" -does- remind me of Kittens! True.

And the track after sunglasses reminds me of All Rights Reversed. Great stuff. :)

The After-The-Sunglasses track reminds me of what you would get if you threw "block rockin' beats" with "Nude Night" into a chemical music blender.

It's an interesting feeling humming along to an inevitable club hit before the radio stations even know it exists. The thing I love and hate most about "After Sunglasses", though, is that it introduces so much new stuff in the last minute or so. That short section that reminds me of the "funk-down" in Music: Response and that tiny, "innocent" synth that it closes on hint at some phenomenal expansion of the track before it reaches us in studio form. On the other hand, why not NOW??!?!? I've never hated a dark electro synth more than the one that comes in during the transition out of this song. Of course, you can never predict what the Chems will do with a song. This time next year I'll be looking at this post amusedly and saying "I can't believe I ever expected 'After Sunglasses' to be anything other than a Dub Reggae track! How weird of me."

Wow, both unnamed tracks blew me away. I can't stop playing the closing track. I would love for this to be the direction of the new album. Minimal vocal guests and speaker wrecking bass!

Download winrar-demo. Should do the trick.

Out of the woodwork. I have to put my two cents in.. that Last Track is mind blowing. I haven't heard anything from Tom and Ed I'm so excited about in awhile... It really could be the next TPPR song; and the last one to really give my ear a tug was Sunshine Underground, which still pales to TPPR imho. It would definitely make a killer EBW (or whatever they're going to call their club vinyl from now on)

As for the After Sunglasses track.. I definitely hear something similar to the bass hits from Problem/Animal. But, I don't think it's the same; I think they may have redone it with a similar vibe, but i really think they scrapped the first version.

Anyway, I may have to hang around again; things are going to get very interesting, very soon.

I was so sad not to be able to make it to Indio. *sigh*

Wowza! Just saw that tracklist and that is immense for what is, overall, a (necessarily due to festival limits) short set. Has probably my fave Chem DJ set staples (Return of the Original Artform mash, Freestyle/Carlos Barrios mash) and some sick tunes besides.

I don't download music, don't even have a program to do so but if someone could send me a file or link at darkstarexodus@yahoo.com I will send out much internet love.

I'm bringing this topic alive again. There's lots of discussion about the upcoming album... and two of our favorite "lost" tracks, I personally think, have been reworked over the past 4 or 5 years into what we're hearing from Coachella.

Listen to them... then, compare the bass lines... and compare the sounds for the upper parts. I think if you listen, you'll see that they are cut from the same cloth...

I might have to retract my statement about the Intro Track... the end of Silver Drizzle sounds an awful lot like the end of that Intro. Hrm.
