Hey, Makoosa is actually pretty cool, very exotic. For some reason I am reminded of hookahs, but maybe that's because hookah and Makoosa sort of rhyme. Or maybe I'm in a smoking kinda mood, but I won't go there. ;)

Mi Casa actually means "my house" in Spanish!

tell you guys what i've been thinking about my night. my mate neil wants to call it 'Makoosa', just a random name spotted of a tune, i know where he is coming from. i love the mystery of a forein name.. like our favorite producers are called 'pillivan and zimbardo', how did they come up with that name?? when in reallity they are paul and gary from leeds.

i do love the latino style name, when whirly said 'mi casa' that was on the right lines!! i might have to crack out a spanish dictonary!!!

i've been doing what i should do more of, practicing my mixing for the big night!! i know how i'm gonna end the night, hot chocolate - everyone's a winner. trust me, i know what i'm doing!! i might even finish my next mix with it!! thank god for radio 2, catering for my growing old needs!!!!!

yes a latin name!!!!!! 8)

mi casa,las arboledas,la mesa,la boveda,la colonia,la feria, there are many options

i'd love to call it something like that you understand iguanapunk!! but the owner of the club is not.... well your standard english gentelman. he is called tariq (as in the eastenders gezzer, i know your a fan!!). he may not see the humour in "fookin english bastard night". then again i could call the night "soft southern bastards". your a northener aren't you??

I have a soft spot for East Anglians. In 1991 I spent 3 months studying in Cambridge, and lived with a host family. My host brother, Alan, was this real tall, lanky red headed kid and his room was covered with rave flyers. He was also a riot, and he had the thickest, laziest, East Anglian accent I've ever heard. It took about 2 weeks for my virgin Yank ears to get used to it, the poor guy had to talk to me real slow like I had a learning disorder. I'll never forget our first conversation, and he looked at his watch and said, "I see-ou la'er, Mier."

I said, "Huh?"

He replied, "I see-ou la'er, Mier."

I just looked at him, and he laughed, "Iiiii'oullllll seeee ouuuuu laaaa-T-er, Mier!"

"OH, OK," I said. "Goodbye."

Also, I noticed that a lot of British folks couldn't say my name without adding an "r" at the end. Same goes for the Scottish and Irish. :)

A few years back my dad had a house in Great-Yarmouth.

He also worked there for 2 years.

After that he moved to Norway and now he lives back in Holland.

You can't go any further East in England than Great-Yarmouth or you'll need to start swimming. X-D

I've been to both great Yarmouth (ironic, cos it's not that great) and Cambridge which has nice clean air cos most people ride bikes.

When I was there, the statistic was that Cambridge had more bicycles per capita than any other city in England, maybe in all of Europe but I think Amsterdam was neck in neck in the running. I even rented a bike when I was there as did most others in my class. Great fun, but getting used to those roundabouts was really scarey at first!
