I don't know, however, that I've ever heard of anyone associating electronic music with homosexuality outside of really cheesy house, though...

What electronic music does best is take the child-like sense of bewilderment and awe and push that to an extreme. And I don't mean "child-like" in a negative sense; there is freedom in completely letting yourself go in those awesome peaks in electronic music, a feeling that I associate with the adventures I took as a child into an unknown backyard or neighborhood.
ThatÂŽs just exactly what I wanted to express, and wasnÂŽt able to... Freedom and surprise...

And IÂŽm still thinking (from my own experience) that metal is a "ghetto-genre". If I attend an electronica gig and the DJ plays, I donÂŽt know... Pantera, people will enjoy it. Maybe they would take it from an ironic view, but people will be able to stand it.
Now imagine the same thing happening in a metal gig...House music played by one DJ or band...Bottles will fly and blood running on the ground will be a strong chance...
But, first of all, respect...It was ONLY my opinion
BTW, Klaxons reveal new CD cover...and itÂŽs so ridiculous that it deserves to be into this thread...More LOL than never

To say something about Metal: Between 1993/94 and 2002 metal (and some subgenres) where the only music i listen to (ok, and Eric Clapton because good guitar players are always welcome). But everything changes in 2002 when i was forced to see the Brothers on the Bizarre Festival. First i don't want to see them (i did not listen to electronic music that time) but i was drunk enough to be persuaded by a friend - and it flashes me. Since then i listen to both metal (Sepultura, Pantera, Sick Of It All etc.) and to electronic music. As the years go by i did listen more to electronic than to metal but i cannot deny where i come from and i don't want to.

By the way, when I saw Rammstein live, the supporting act was CombiChrist, which is an aggrotech band, but people enjoyed it anyway.

But there are a lot of other particular genres that he doesn't play, like symphonic metal, grindcore or industrial metal.
