do any of ye have a favourite chems song that was played in a tv show/film. I remember that corny as it sounds gardeners world us to play nearly all of the sunshine underground in its show every week a while ago. I though it was really weird, that they would be playing it . I also remember that the simpsons played the chems remix of a primal scream song.

A couple more current flicks:
'The State We're In' is played in Lost In Translation - works great in the particular scene and later on, Bill Murray's character is talking on the phone describing his night out, and he says, "they were playing really cool music." That made me smile.
I also just saw Monster (don't get all excited electrodo, Charlize Theron looks like white trash hell in that movie! ;) ) and 'Where Do I Begin' was played during a montage-like scene - worked very well.
There's an am radio station here that used to play Chem songs during the traffic reports (old Exit Planet Dust Chems) but I hardly listen to traffic reports anymore so I don't know if they still do. They've also been played during that whack job Art Bell's programming which I found amusing because he's a UFO wingnut. I don't know, it just seemed fitting.

Yeah I was going to point out that lost in translation played it and did it pretty well, seeing how they started with the state we're in and then played the transition part (about when you hear denmark), i thought that was rockin good use.
I've heard chem songs in so many movies that it's hard to keep track, they used leave home in gone in 60 seconds (which hearing leave home was the high point of that movie) along with high fidelity, when I heard it in those movies I was emphatically pointing out to my friend watching, I'm just that sad

Maybe this year, Nissan will ditch their 2-year-old "year end 0% apr sales event" tv commercial that plays Hoops. It comes around every summer when the last year's cars make way for the upcoming models. I'm for songs used in ads, but the this commercial wasn't very good, especially compared to their other ones.
But I did see a good commercial with good use of a Chemical Brothers song in it a few months back. It was a spot for Sirius satellite radio. It was done up with computer animation, what looked like magnified dust particles bouncing around the inside of a speaker to Galaxy Bounce.
