Just wondered if anyone else was heading to witness "the best god has heard" smash the place to bits next Sunday?

Hello there, its quite funny as I wrote a message similar to this on the forum earlier, but i lost my connection!

Myself and my girlfriend did a last minute deal this morning so will be heading out to Ibiza next saturday ready for space on Sunday. Im so excited about this one, to see Ed and Tom playing in one of the worlds most famous clubs, I feel very lucky! Im just hoping that the Chems set doesn't clash with Woolford or Zabs as I'm looking forward to seeing them aswell!

Never been to space, can anyone tell me what its like?

ibiza town is lovely, esp at night and it's worth getting a car and checking out the north of the island. I used to love portinatx in the north but I haven't been for donkeys years

deffo, yeah there will be a phat review, but not straight away as im out there for a week. I think this one has the potential to be up there with the Summercase dj set also the turnmills new years eve sets.

Their dj set I saw from them this year was fantastic. I can only imagine how how great it will be in a swanky place like Ibiza!

The Chems played Space last year, right? Didn't the set go so splendidly that the crowd sat down on the dancefloor when it was all over with? Or am I confusing gigs?

Anyway you know it's going to be a great night out! I am really looking forward to reviews, pictures and youtube!

Not long now! Im starting to get really excited. Long story short because of work I missed em play at Fabric by a matter of hours and are still coming to terms with it!

Acidchildren you will absolutely be in your element at Space- esp. if it’s your first-time. You hear a lot of people banging on about how its not the same anymore now they have had to stick a roof on the terrace which was the whole point blah blah.. I went last year which was the first time I had been since it had changed and had an amazing time! I see it now as just a club night that starts a few hours earlier- with two main rooms as oppose to before when it was open for 22hours on a Sunday I found it was “a game of two halves” as the terrace would shut at midnight – you got a lot people go early for the Terrace some straight from other clubs, then leave when it shut and the main inside stated. With some people not turning up till midnight to go straight main inside. The one thing I will say is that for me the main room is maybe not that impressive as it was years ago and the sound system is a little weak, compared to Amnesia, Matter and the mighty Fabric. Though the atmosphere is second to none!! (everyone’s on holiday! YAY!!) and the AC is very good which is going to be handy when the boys start show em what’s-what!! One thing I did like was the small little which was busy from the off (5-6pm) and is like what the main terrace used be like all be it on much smaller scale. Again as im sure you will have been told a million times but it really does cost a bomb for drinks- around 7quid I think for a beer- also don’t forget the shop which can be dangerous at daft o’clock in morning if you’ve just had one of times of life and your not exactly sober.

Last year I remember em dropping Over and Over by Hot Chip which just seemed to put the breaks on and and give everyone chance to just stand back and realise “fuck me! Im on holiday in one of the best clubs in world listening to the best in the world surrounded by all these beautiful crazy people who are loving it. This is what we work for! WOO!!!!” – well I know I did!

Aww! Ragin! I would have loved to have seen Chems at Space. Space is actually amazing Acid, when I was in Ibiza for two weeks it was so good we went both Sunday's we were there! I am actually so tempted just to bounce on a plane out there like. It'll be quite magical to say the least especially since it's such a nice club like. However, drinks are quite expensive! Bring some raw vodka in one of those little bottles of water they serve in a bag. Nobody searches! If you get 4 people and a taxi you can get your money back at the door of Space. It's actually great!

Im killing time till getting smashed till the taxi to airport gets here in a few hours listing to there DJsets. Excitement personified!! XX

Yeah its got some great acts.. Chems, Mills, Smagghe, Zabs, Woolford, plus loads more!

Basically whenever you get a taxi with 4 other people and you show up at the door of space with the reciept, you get your money back. So basically free taxi, or atleast that is what it was like whenever I was there, but I definitely definitely got it like. In some instance's the taxi man was even sound enough to say there was 4 people in the taxi even though there was only two, because we haggled with him and told him we wouldn't get it unless we got our money back, and he obliged like. It's a well useful scheme like taxi driver wins, consumer wins, club wins (as they get the people in the door). But then that is why I am slightly doubtful if they are still doing it because it is in the midst of the season being August and that and this was in early June, so I donno try ringing the club and finding out, or risk it like cause if you spilt a taxi from San An to Space 4 ways it only works out at about 5-7 euros each, it's dead on like. So ragin I am not there at Space to see the Chems, Space was one of the best clubs I went to when I was out and to have seen the Chems there would have been quite simply magical! I envy you lot who are going to be present there like. But Hopefully I make it out to the closing parties, made it to the opening parties of most of the big clubs and I plan to make it to the closing! Viva l'ibiza!!
