I LOVE AONO!!!!My ranking:

Spitfire: 7/10 - strong and powerfull track

Girls: 10/10 - back to past in very fine way!!!and ofcourse strong beat

Memphis Bells: 6/10

Get up get off: 5/10

Hotride: 6/10

Wake up call: 9/10

Action Radar: 10/10!!!!!!! FUCKEN GREAT VOICE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Medusa's path: 9/10

Phoenix: 10/10 - what the beautifull voice sample!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You'll be under my wheels: 3/10

The way it is: 8/10

Shoot down: 10/10 - Liam and Noel are best as always ;)

Fenomenal on this album are this all voices are used as instruments not as normal standard voices (like in PTB for example).

All album has strong, big and massive beats all around. This album perfectly fit in it's place after the FOTL!!!!NEW, GREAT AND FRESH ALBUM!!!!

As someone pointed out b4 its harder to come back the longer you leave it due to increaseing pressure and expectations.

AONO isnt a bad album, its not shit like people make out and when you compared to toher dance albums from last year its alot better. Shame Kieth and Maxim did not feature but its nice to here they are back in the live shows.

Yeah, I was surprised how negative people were about it. It seems very fashionable to knock the Prodge these days. I didn't think Fatboy's latest album was all that bad either. Maybe I'm just easily satisfied in my old age. :?

Actually tyler when saying that i had Palookville in mind. Its an ok album but im more into AONO, i just wish fatboy had gone back and done a pumping album like YCALWB.

I think YCALWB was when he was at his peak in terms of music he made and the quality of his dj sets, if you listen to his big beat dj sets there so much better than what he plays when he has been djing recentally.

I was really excited about Palookville cause he said he would go back to his routes and i thought that meant another BLTC but no he meant going back to playing base when he was in housemartins

This is going off topic, I know, but talking of Fatboy going back to his roots, I was listening to Dub Be Good To Me the other day. Lindy Layton was such a great talent (I know they were an item for a while too), but then just seems to have disappeared into obscurity. Any idea what she's doing these days?

I wouldnt worry about going off topic. It doesnt seem to bother most of the new people!

I wouldnt have a clue about Lindy Layton.

Ive got a cool FBS cd thats got loads of his work on in other forms cant remember its name. Think its Norman cooks record collection or back to the norm?

Sorry for that, but teh Fatboy music always sounded to me like music for the kids. He has very funny music, You know. Samples are used in very funny way. He has nothing with strong groundbreaking, psychedelic track like Chemicals. This is very light, childy music...

And what about Sunset (Bird of Prey), Drop The Hate and Camber Sands (on the Demons CD-single) then? Pretty serious ass wooping music if you ask me.

yup you can't really ignore the genius behind those tracks as well. Once in a while norman will create a sound which sounds fresh and innovative and a step forward but then he goes and releases Plookaville.!!!

I think hes right to. When YCALWB was released i was well into to it i was about 13 at the time so hadn't been into music all that long.

Its fun and easy to listen to and doesnt get as twisted as the chems.

I think hes first album is prob his most twisted stuff. But now his production has lost the plot a bit.

His big beat dj sets were wicked esspecially the set he did during the 1999 ecipse. But when you listen to the likes of the Big Beach Boutique cds these are no way as good. Saying all that the last to performance of his i went to at turnmills at bestival i saw were enjoyable, because they got really dirty and he played some good acid house.

Going back to AONO i think this is a brilliant album compared to FBS lastest. But its not as good as PTB.

I've just downloaded AONO's remixes, and they suck harder than the originals.

I guess The Prodigy is still alive from What Evil Lurks up to Baby's Got a Temper.

Liam, all that time waiting to listen good sounds back again, but all that wait... for nothing. :(

http://www.theprodig.../guestbook.html check out the third page of this Prod forum thread, some twat thinsk the chems havnt done anything for dance. They seem to love slagging off the chems on there. The Chems are so much better than the prod. You can see it in PTB and AONO.

That's your opinion. Others might think different about this. Hard to appreciate the fact that not everybody likes the Chemical Brothers eh?
