He was making a joke about all the ridiculous comments people make on dubstep videos on Youtube. There's even a twitter feed with a collection of them (I wouldn't recommend reading it, though. I feel the same way about stuff like that.).
Back on topic, I wouldn't mind this. In retrospect, My Elastic Eye was a lot like proto-dubstep (although I don't know if it was "embraced by the dubstep community" like this quote reads), and if they made an album of songs like MEE, I'd love it. I hope it's still at least partially club-friendly, though - few things get my blood pumping like high-tempo dubstep, if only because there's so little of it.
Also, considering this doesn't have anything to do with live shows and everything to do with new Chems material, maybe we should consider moving and renaming this?

Plus the Chems often said they didn't want to repeat themselves by making big beat again but preferred to innovate...well, if they prefer to innovate, why would they follow the current trends ?
I'm sure this article is all fake cause it's just non-sense

Note that he never actually said they were going to make a dubstep album. Tom just said that if they did do one, he was sure they'd kill it. (And they would kill it.)
Realize that the quote was taken out of context. Tom had probably just been asked a question about his thoughts on dubstep, and that was a little chunk of his answer that the writer made to look like an official statement.

But anyway, I'm not sure what to make of that article and although it's an errr interesting springboard for comments and discussion here, I'm not going to put too much stock into this. The Chems have never liked to be pigeonholed into one style or genre so I don't see why this time around it would be different...

and
thx for explaining it, Champiness! This was just some kind of "Dubstep Slang". I like these "This is filthier than..." postings under Dubstep tracks. Some of them are really funny...
Don't wanna post my favourites here

The Prodigy...
Aphex Twin...
...and now the Chems ?!
When will dubstep stop killing the legends ?!

Would love to hear a dubstep track by the chems built on their heavy gear. Also drum & bass would be nice. At last it would be just another big chems track but not in 4/4.
Love is All aka This is filthier than Love is all
BTW, just one more dubstepquote:
No, there weren`t any bombs planted in the WTC. The towers were destroyed by this song, even though it didn`t exist at the time.

Personally I am up for anything the Brothers want to bring us. I love "My Elastic Eye".

As far as I know, the never gave any clue on what it'd turn out. Plus it would be stupid from them to do an album which aims only one genre. Especially a genre which is already overhyped.
