...with the Chem Bros, naturally!!! What did you think I was going to talk about?

Whirly girl asked me for a statement about their live performance in Florence on 8th january.

What can I say? Their the biggest, the best, the virtuousest! 4 hours, yes FOUR hours, of music as I love! An everlasting orgasm annihilating fatigue. A lot of variations on a few of their albums tracks. Yes! They've played just "The Duke" in a unheard version, "Get yoursel high" in a techno version, "The golden path" in heaviest version (for instance with no chorus and with only beats at the end when it says:please forgive me I never meant to hurt you),"Star guitar" in a.... orgasmic (yeah, nothing else to say, Ed was on the turntable and Tom... well, he was coming I think) version and almost at the end of the performance "Ehi boy hey girl" just for the less fanatic; all the other music played has been the product of their improvisation by their vinyls and some samples from well-known tracks, like the "under the influence" lyrics and the PPR effects. Now I'm in the "They who have seen CB club"!

I just don't know if they have given some signs for the new album with all that new stuff. It was heavier, hardest, baddest than their previous release; that's my impression. Anyway they're n good health! Isn't it enough? :D

8O excuuuuuuuuuuuse me?
He put on a turn-down collar, a black bow, and wore his Sunday tail-coat. As such, he looked spruce, and what his clothes would not do, his instinct for making the most of his good looks would.

Yayayaya!!! I am so happy for you gigrobotdacciaio!!! It is so awesome you got a 4 hour set from the Chemicals and that you had such a fantastic time. And from the length they played it seems like the crowd mustve been into it too, no? Also from your description of the songs it sounds like they might have played some special cut ups there exclusively for the gig but what do I really know - I was only there in spirit! ;) And you got to hear The Duke played at spleen shattering decibles!

I bet you still have what my husband has dubbed The Chemical Glow - where you have a perma-grin on your face the whole next day and a twinkle in your eye for having such a cool experience and gotten something truly fun, enjoyable and fullfilling from it! Oh, and from dancing your butt of too, hehe. Woohooooo!

Glad to hear Tom and Ed were in top form last night, they done well!

Sure! A perma-grin gives the exact idea of my face in these almost 2 days... but not only: I feel I have a lot of things to tell about that gig, mainly hard to express. It's joy, it's incredulity when I think back of how long I moved my body and , also more uncredible, with Tom in front of me at less than 2 meters and it's tiredness taht came out right after going out of the club, in fact I feared to fall asleep while I was driving to my home.Later in my bed (at 5:30 a.m.!) I fell asleep with a smile upon my face. I told you yet that the club isn't very large, in fact I've got the under consolle position (pushing, yeah, but not very much cause of I'm tall enough) and the 3 turntables with those 4 hands on were in front of my eyes, just with a plexiglass between. I've got my "Singles" book autographed by both, just stretching out my arm toward Tom, I've clasped Tom's hand and I screamed to Ed "Pump up!" trough the plexiglass. Why? I don' know. It was the adrenaline, I guess... :-//

8) I can totally relate to your experience!

It's so cool you were so close and got your Singles signed and got to shake Tom's had. Wow! You are (still) on top of the moon!

Be prepared, you'll be feeling good at least all week about this!
