He put on a turn-down collar, a black bow, and wore his Sunday tail-coat. As such, he looked spruce, and what his clothes would not do, his instinct for making the most of his good looks would.

Are you ? I guess it's more "You are who other people see in you...". For example, it's not up to me to decide wether or not I am a funny pal, the top banana or (more recently) a good musician. That's up to the others to decide.

if you think that people should judge you and tell you who you are then it's ok with me... i guess this shows how much you are influenced by other people ( we all are ) but it also shows your creativity and originality and your ablility to think for your own self...am i makin sense or i completely lost ya ?
