Maaaan that was an amazing live set! I still can't believe i was there! I WAS THERE!!!
Berlin 24th of september! With shaking feet i got into my car - destination: Berlin - Velodrom! The place where the party gonna rock tonight!!! Driving 1 and half hour later I finally reached the place i wanted to be to freak out to the best music on planet earth ;-) .
I came into this huge hall with all it's really cool illuminations and decorations. Big monitors and screens everywhere i looked and parts of the surrounding was wrapped in white linen to show screen's images all around. A large mixing desk with control panel, lights and buttons right in the middle of the dancefloor to make sure all will happen as it should and a pivotable camera dominated the picture!
I was completely euphoric by knowing what will take place in a few hours!
Some dj were playing a chillout set when i was starting to explore the area and taking some drinks . . .
After walking some rounds i decided to go back into the hall to listen to mylo who started to promote their new album "Destroy Rock And Roll". They've got a nice feeling entertaining the audience by playing driving live beats combined with cool guitar distorted sounds! Only listening to the sound i'd had belived they're ordinary dj's but no, they played live with real instruments (drumkit . . .). A cool opener.
They finished and finally, the technicians prepared the stage for the one and only.
The Tomorrow Never Knows-intro dropped in and as the words said i turned off my mind relaxed and float down stream!!! Bam bam bam hey girls bam bam bam hey boys bam bam bam superstar djs - here we go! The masses shouted and went mad when the massive beats kicked in! My heart beat jumped up to 180 bpm. Damn good what a eargasm!!! And what was that? Morning lemon? I couldn't believe it! Thanks mates for your petitions!!! They've understood the call! They put it between HBHG and GYH. Crazy! I didn't trust my ears . . .
Well the whole thing was just incredible. They've got so many exciting things included in their set i was really impressed 'cause i thought it would sound like the most of their recent shows i've listened so far. But the brothers know how to surprize! Or galvanize? X-D (Btw they probably could play the same set times and times and i wouldn't get enough) I was it, just galvanizing to their mind blowing beats.
When it all came to an end ( :'( ) they finished their set with a classic: chemical beats! Totally wicked!!! I would have been disappointed if i hadn't seen the show in february this year where they blew up the air with the best closer ever TPPR. It's cool to see they're changing things from gig to gig in order to keep them fascinating. At some times i looked like a dumb fool when noding to a beat excpected to come but then it was completely different (transition from Music: Response to BRB, because they left out M:R)...
To sad that my mp3 stick wasn't that good enough to record the gig in quality at all. Only bass woofer remained. I could kick my ass...
The Brothers worked it out!
THANK YOU FOR THE MOMENT OF ETERNITY!!!

Hey, what a cool review!
Thanks for sharing your moment, Csar! It sounds like you had a wicked time. It's awesome they played Morning Lemon, it seems that song is really getting a good response just going by the reviews and stuff around the forums. Also it seems they are bringing in a full-on version of Chemical Beats for a number of recent gigs which is cool because like you said it keeps them "fascinating."
Was it just you that went, or did you bring people along to convert to the Chemical Brotherhood?

Unfortunately nobody of my friends had time or were to busy at this weekend so i had to go by myself. These fools, they don't know what they missed! One of the best saturday night ever!!
But Berlin's people were great and the vibe there was awesome!

Aw, those suckers - you're right, they have no idea what they missed! Maybe next time you can convert them, and in the end you can say "see, I told you so!!"
I'm glad you had a great time going by yourself, though. I'm sure once the music started, you were no longer alone.

You're right whirly! Once when the music started i was surrounded by frigg'n cheerful people who all shared the same unique moment...
I had to take this chance seeing them a second time in Germany, you know. I don't wanted to say some day " oh yeah, they where here not far away but nobody wanted to come along with me so i missed them" you know.
A man has to do what he's supposed to do! X-D
