Yah, I fargen love metal, although there are some breeds of metal which I don't enjoy. I regard anything with geetars as a type of metal.

Iron Maiden

System of a Down[/b]

I like Incubus, but I wouldn't say they're metal. I like Nirvana too, but everybody does. Our Lady Peace's earlier stuff is wicked, but they're not really metal either. Hmm.

oooow, get you *limp wrist*

I'm finding it harder and harder to define music, I mean people call System of a Down new metal, and to me that isn't new metal at all, it's just plain mental :)

It's modern day thrash metal for the most part.

Sometimes Toxicity is a cool album, but it's quite rare that I wanna listen to it. That said, if I'm in a rock club, and a song comes on from it, I'll love it. I guess it's coz I know it quite well, at work we had it on for ages, it became THE album for when we shut shop. Not my choice, but it grew on me.

I got all the SOAD album, each one is fuckin loud! Proper powerful songs that make you go insane and put you in touch with the rock god aka satan.

I like the anti-government sentiment of Toxicity, it's like spirit of the 60s again. Shame it's so hard, it makes it difficult to listen to sometimes.

I love the hardness, there's nothing like that kind of rock, the type that makes the room shake, just guitars blaring at you. Their first album isn't as polished as the others, which I kind of like but Toxicity for me is my favourite, so many great tracks.

I was a pretty big Tool fan a couple of years ago. They put on a hell of a live show, let me tell you.

I've also always loved the Smashing Pumpkins, who were known to bust out some metal from time to time.... (An Ode to No One, X.Y.U., Silverfuck, etc.)

My Tool collection shares the same "exclusive" cd rack as my Chems collection.
