yeah, but look at the downside. They might get rich, but the whole world's gonna know that they drank each others pee.

Too bad that $1800 would almost cover NYE in London, but must have priorities. And that priority is to be debt-free (car, credit card, etc.) other than my student line of credit before the end of the year. Then pay down the line of credit some by the end of summer and be able to afford a United Kingdom visit sometime in 2007.

I could easily qualify for bigger lines of credit from competing banks (one is offering me up to $75,000) and make it to NYE this year and get a new car, etc., but I don't want to come out of university owing boatloads. I hope to get out of eight years university with a total debt level of well under $30,000, which I think is a fantastic accomplishment and roughly double what I owe right now (after 5 1/2 years).
And yes, if my car wasn't an unreliable POS, I would be without half my debts and possessing flight tickets. But nooooo..... I had to have a gas-guzzling, turbocharged, all-wheel-drive sports car. And an increasingly rusty one at that. Fricking moron, why couldn't I have bought a Corolla or something? X-D

You are so lucky that you have good credit. It is so tempting to go out and spend money that you don't have if the line of credit is available to you - it's good you have a grip on that (despite the whole NYE thing, but if you could make it over to the UK for a live gig that would be awesome! I know the last trip to the UK is only the beginning... only the beginning... beginning... ginning... ing...ing)
For me it's a good thing I don't have a line of credit (no bank is stupid enough to give me one, haha) or else my son would be 90 years old by the time he'd pay off trips to London for NYE... rounds of Red Stripes for all my frieeeeeeeends, keep em coming!!

Then just after I paid that off, she lent me my airfare to fly down to Cali. And just as I paid that off, my car broke down (twice) and resulted in me owing them $1800, which is finally paid off as of tonight.
Now just to get the credit card and the car paid off. Maybe this week...
(And I still want a sporty car. I want a newer version of my car... 1998 or so. Another money pit waiting to happen. When will I learn? X-D I do love AWD though in the winter here.)

You definitely need an AWD with the harsh winters you get there. And being a guy n'all, the sporty chick-magnet mobile is a must!

Your parents rock! When you move out, I'll move in with them. I'm sure they wouldn't mind having a daughter! ;)
Don't I know it! It's the only reason I can stand living at home. They're amazing and they still drive me insane. Can't imagine having anything less!

Needs a paint job and some rust repair, but yeah, I love me shitty little car. Gets some attention here and there.

And this movie manages to make Scarlett Johansen look dumb. As in Tara Reid dumb. Nice one Michael Bay. You suck!!
