He put on a turn-down collar, a black bow, and wore his Sunday tail-coat. As such, he looked spruce, and what his clothes would not do, his instinct for making the most of his good looks would.

Oh yeah. :D I'm listening now... the GYH and Acid Children. Not the best quality, it's to be expected - I know there's a lot more going on in the songs but I'm not complaining!
When that massive bass comes in during Get Yourself High, I can only imagine how the rumbling tore underneath everyone's feet. Sweet indeed. I can't wait to hear this one played out in a live setting.
Oooo. A new tune, yay! Nice creeped out "you are all my children now" voice = freaky! Now I can see why those clown heads were used in the visuals. I'm loving the swelling, galloping, thunderous breaks. The acidic, head trippy melody accentuated with those chirping noises balance out the darkness of the song. This tune seriously owns us all!
Thanks for those links, guys.

The thing that annoys me is that they showed over an hour of the Jaxx's set (a group I like), but they only showed 20mins of the Chems set (my no.1 band)! }:-@
yeah that bugged me. i thought the basement jaxx show just kept going surly they were on for at least 3 or 4 hours!!! there show just didn't cut the mustard for me, i saw them a couple of time supporting remedy and it was a full on party carnaval. now it all seems a bit drab to me.
now watching orbital play there last ever set (if you ignor the other 2 shows they are doing!!!). and i was thinking i wish i had seen them live. then i remembered i had, orbital never made much of an impact on my life. i don't even own a single album of theirs!!

I, for one, never thought that the track, acid children, was theirs. I remember hearing the past two DJ sets they played in NYC. Banging techno, no playing around with that one.
i wonder where the chems will spin in NYC now centro-fly has gone??

wow that was interesting, they're really making a sample fest out of their live shows now (using elements from setting sun, ebw6, music response, and hey boy hey girl). different than what i expected. don't know if I like the vocal sample too much (maybe i have a thing with voices being slowed down, but i think if it were reverberated female voice would've given a different feel to the song) but putting that to fuckin clowns is great. wonder if AC will be an album track or b-side or one of those ebws that become a b-side?

You can hear a short interview with the Chems (and learn some simple info about the new album and thoughts of performing at Glastonbury) at this page: http://www.bbc.co.uk...004/dance.shtml
Scroll down and click on the 'listen to Seb' link. The Chems section start at around 15 mins in the show. The live version of Star Guitar is also after their interview.

I am guessing the new Crobar in NYC. Or maybe Arc, where Danny Teneglia spins. Centro-Fly had a pretty cool staff working there, I'm pissed it is gone, even if it was a little crap-hole of a place.
