Hey Guys,
I'm about 3 hours removed from going to my local record store and picking up a copy of the Manic Street Preachers Double Disc/Tribute album because there are 2 songs remixed by the Chemical Brothers.
Anyone heard these? I have no idea what to expect other than I know I'll like them cause there Chem trax.
I loved there remix of "Everything Must Go' on the Brothers Gonna Work It Out CD.
Any thoughts?

Yeah, old huh? I can see that, how come I never knew 'bout them before. You know, I search for Chemical Brothers remix on music sites and a bunch of stuff 'll pop up, but these 2 never did.
Thye definetly had that "Exit Planet Dust" feel rather than that "Surrender" or "Come with Us" feel.
Alas, there new to me....and I love Manic Street Preachers now
See, music is like a chain, you never know which artists you will be lead to!!!!

I for myself got lead to the Chemical Brothers, Leftfield, Sunscreem, The Shamen, New Order, Orbital and The Prodigy by the WipEout soundtrack alone. So much money spent just because of one single CD... :P
On a Chem's note - "The Test" made me buy Richard's own LP, and I really like it.

Hey c-row, I played lots n' lots of Wipeout XL. So much in fact, that just thinking about the game gives me carpal tunnel syndrome as well as flashbacks to Red Bull ads claiming to "improve reaction time!" Did you ever get to the uber secret bonus level - the one in the glacier? There's a nifty Chemical Brothers billboard that's in that map.
If you liked Richard Ashcroft's solo effort, you should check out The Verve (his former band) They were just incredible. The Test is very reminiscent imo of The Verve's record 'A Storm in Heaven.'
be kind, for everyone you meet is fighting a hard battle

Unfortunately not, but I really enjoyed the rides. Still think that it's one of the few games that alone would justify buying a PSX/2... 8)

From the top of my head, I only remember "Bitter Sweet Symphony" from The Verve. But we had a record spinning in the local record shop yesterday, and I thought "Hey, I know that voice. Reminds me of Richard Ashcroft" - I found out later that it was in fact The Verve, but I don't remember the album name right now.
I will keep my eyes and ears open !
