Ha Kosek,
Yes i know most of the albums you are talking about. Love the delta funktionen and monoloc albums.
Really into this dark and deep sound at the moment.
I have to give the credits to my boyfriend though; he does al the record-digging and music searching. I just ask him 'who is this artist?'. He's my personal juke-box. Very nice.

Well spotted. The album is however, as boring as I feared it would be. I say this as someone who loved Myths Of The Near Future and loved seeing them live at Shepherds Bush Empire around that time (pints and glowsticks flying everywhere).
I sort of stopped trying to figure out which tracks are produced by Tom. l couldn't stay interested enough...

Yeah, sadly it didn't grab hold of me. Atom To Atom by far the stand out for me. And ill stick to the Tom Rowlands remix of Love Frequency too.
Come out from the cold and into the setting sun. It's where it all began for me (not in Afrika), like it was out of control. Then after that life was sweet. So dream on into the pioneer skies of the fourteenth century and rise from the sunshine underground.

I fear I have to agree with you guys so far. I think I have to give this another few spins. Maybe I just have to get used to the vocals.
But first: the new Mr. Scruff album again! That album is amazing! Classic scruff but way more minimal, deep and funkier than before.

Solid Steel Radio Show 6/6/2014 Part 3 + 4 - Alex Banks
http://soundcloud.com/ninja-tune/solid-steel-radio-show-662014-part-3-4-alex-banks
In Hour 2 it's a return for Alex Banks, who was the Solid Steel Mix of the Year winner in 2012 and now has a new album 'Illuminate' out on Monkeytown, another label run by Modeselektor. He tells us;
"Having spent a lot of time focussing on producing my new album recently, I’ve not recorded a DJ mix for a while so I wanted to put something together that includes some of my favourite tracks from sets I’ve played out in the past year or so, as well some of brand new stuff I’m really excited by at the moment. As the music I make is influenced by a wide range of styles, I’ve also tried to incorporate that into my DJ sets, so here you’ll find downtempo electronica mixed with full on dance floor smashers and everything between. There’s also a few tracks from the new album and an exclusive preview of my forthcoming release on the next Modeselektion Vol.3 compilation out 27th June."
Check out the Solid Steel website here
and you can follow Solid Steel on Facebook and the brand new Twitter feed.

That Alex Banks mix is killer too.

dead con dance song of sophia
Ah this, which the brothers sampled for Song To the Siren. Which was confusing as Dead Can Dance were signed to 4AD records which is the label that also released This Mortal Coil's Song To the Siren, which wasn't sampled by the Chems.
