For those interested in the new Nine Inch Nails single, The Hand That Feeds, the video is available for d/l (35 MB file) at www.nin.com, in the current section (click on the pic).
Straight performance vid, song is kinda shitty, but I have the feeling it will grow on me eventually.

NIN, Ministry and Skinny Puppy have all been crap since The Downward Spiral, Psalm 69 and Too Dark Park, respectively. Those albums and the ones before them were great, all the later ones were sad failed attempts at continued relevence... IMO, of course.

El Rezzo has confirmed that the video on the official site is indeed the official promo video, and that it was directed by Rob Sheridan (like that wasn't pretty obvious....).
Photek and DFA mixes of the The Hand That Feeds will be released.
And I'm still not sure if I prefer The Fragile or TDS... If The Fragile had been compressed to one, non-bloated disc, maybe.... Broken is still my fave, though.

Yeah, I didn't care much for The Fragile. I actually enjoyed the last two Ministry albums but yeah, they're not as good as Psalm 69 or LORAH. However, I have to disagree on Skinny Puppy. Last Rights is probably one of their best albums. The Process was also another one I enjoyed but not as much as TDP or LR. Their latest is a big departure from the Skinny Puppy sound of the 80's and early 90's. However, I loved their sideproject work afterwards so it makes sense to me and is probably one of my favorite ones (probably my 3rd favorite).

Oh yeah, i forgot about Last Rights... that wasn't bad... basicly, I don't consider anything they did after Ogre left to really be 'Skinny Puppy', you know? to me it's like if Tom & Ed stopped making music and the guy who runs their mixing board kept releasing chemical brothers albums.

It wasn't Skinny Puppy. It was called Download, platEAU, Tear Garden, Doubting Thomas, and whatever else I forgot. If you're talking about Ogre not being there a lot of the time from what I've heard they were having arguments around the time Rabies was done all the way until The Process.

FYI, Dave Ogilvie has emerged from the shadows with a goth-pop-rock-cute-chick outfit called Jakalope, which comes off as a catchy, gothy, Avril Lavigne-ish sort of deal too me. Not terrible, but nothing mind-blowing either.
Yeah, and he's really giving the current Skinny Puppy a hard time as well basically saying he was boycotting it and refused to listen to it. He doesn't mind using the SP name in those press releases to get some publicity, though.

Tear Garden is Ogre and Edvard Ka-Spel, it has nothing to do with the other members of skinny puppy.
