Massive Attack- Dissolved Girl

been listening to mezzanine alot lately .......brilliant, brilliant, album.... 8)

That album's some of the sexiest music on this earth, and it's weathered time rather well. It sounds just as good now as it did then. This one's definitely a classic.

I've been listening to New Order's Get Ready over this past week and it's been a while since I've taken it off my shelf and given it a listen. I had forgotten how much I enjoyed this album so it was good to hear it again.

I also listened to a lot of Cocteau Twins' Heaven Or Las Vegas which is such a warm, lush tapestry of sound. Perfect for a few days this week driving to work where the mist was heavy enough in the morning it was like light druzzly rainfall.
be kind, for everyone you meet is fighting a hard battle

Fantastic live act! I've never listened to one of their albums or heard one of their songs on the radio or seen one of the videos, but I went to their concert on a whim and was rocked by balls to the wall tunes for the duration. Fantastic show!

Tiga - Sexor (album)

Such a good pick up. Unbelieveably campy, gay pop, adroit covers, dancefloor mashers. Lovely.

Seriously, this is a candidate for best pop album of the year.

Well their precedent albums are really really good, really rock, but the new one is deceiving, it's "pop" or even sometimes "james blunt"...

Been a Muse fan from the beggining, they've created some amazing stuff and are a top notch live act. Something beautiful at night I bet (I had a chance to see them but there was a coach mix up). I'll give their new album a listen at some point, hope it doesn't dissapoint...

some Plant Life stuff... Pretty cool, the Chems - Jack Splash collab could be very interesting, even if I have always prefered instrumental tracks...

Death From Above 1979 - Blood On Our Hands (Justice remix)

Ripping electro, takes the raw punk of the original and electrofies it up nicely.
