People

its time for me to tell you

that i love the chems.

There is so much bullshit going on lately, like personal bullshit, and we forgot why we are here.

I am listening to the sunshine undergroud ( and i just listened to the test ) with my MUM , we are both tipsy , and i dont think i can ever explain what feelings those songs give me.

I just said to my my mum bout the sunshine:

" If god would be a mucisian, this is what he would've made"

( To wich my mum replied : " If god would be a mucisian, nobody would be deaf )

Bring the music back mofo's - and bring the love back.

Yours truly,

Jeanie

Jeanie!! We miss thee! Anyway, don't think there's a better way to put what you just said. Chemical Brothers are the only music I can listen to where after playing the same song 492 times, I enjoy it more at the 492 mark than I did the first few times, ages well.

Cheers

yeah, I know, I have such withdrawal from seeing two consecutive shows in a row (after the 5 years of buying tickets but never making it to shows). There is definitely no feeling like in BG when the distortion fades in over the beeps while the colors creep closer to the front of the screen. I remember it feeling like the distorted sounds were landing in from the sky, then just hits you with the ticking hi-hats. That would be the moment (as Tom & Ed described it on one of their radio interviews) where you "let go"

Aaah I miss you Jeanie, would love to see you again.

I love them so much too man, another artist can't beat them. I remember some nights when I was down and I was lying in bed and couldn't sleep because I was (and still am) worried about some personal things. And I just put the reel or the test or the sunshine underground. And you just totally go up in the music, and after it you feel happy, cleaned up, its like a reset button sometimes the chems. And what happens when you listen to the music its incredible, I get some great memories from when I was younger. And yes you can't describe it is wonderful. The music doesn't solve your problems but lets you forget it for a few minutes, and gives you a little power to go on. And I thank tom and ed for that! Oh man the test these lyrics just fit in the track, its great I close my eyes and see pictures and things i've done before circling around me hear on the floor. The last few weeks i'm enjoying the sunshine underground and the test more then the reel. They just have that little more on the moment. Sometimes I think things that i've experienced home are more intense then their live gigs, maybe I don't feel comfortable at the moment among other people I guess its the period in which i'm living now (end of puberty). And some people make these live gigs wonderful, and I stil don't know how to thank you for it Jeanie for getting me backstage with the chems! I love you, I love you all!

Sometimes I find it hard to portray how much this music has done for me, how it found me and carried me through dark times, and how it has accompanied me through some of the best moments of my life.

Over the years I've met great people because of the Chemical Brothers, some of whom I am proud to call dear and best friends - you know who you are. The music has brought me closer to my husband in a lot of ways, and sometimes a song lights up my son's eyes. I say a lot of stuff here on the boards, some of it's just small talk but most of it's not (at least I hope not!!) - and sometimes the words don't come as easily as I'd hoped. And sometimes there's nothing more to say other than just sit back and let the music talk to me. I'm just proud and grateful to have something that's brought me so much joy...

Not sure where this is going and it probably doesn't matter anyway. God, I'm being a sappy sentimental dork.

But Jeanie, thank you lady for giving us the opportunity to get into another on-board orgy. Good times!

I think I was listening to The Sunshine Underground on the way up to visit Alexis that you were... HA!

I always like to introduce all my rideshares to The Chemical Brothers, and I've made at least 10 people fans... ;-)

good to see a move away from the bullshit that was here for the last 6 months and back to the good old days of every one celebrating the music.

Exactly irish, it should always be about the music! I never bother with the threads that aren't about T & E's music. The personal stuff is there business and always should be! Bring on Gurnmills!!! :)
