Sad to see Another Workd go (personal favorite on further and last tour), but that transition with Galvanize to Do It Again is way too awesome and I'm excited to hear it return.

Any sign of Out of Control?

Amazing footage all round though, the best live visuals yet.

WOW!!! I LOVE the new Star Guitar!! The new synth bit is super! And the TLB transition is nothing but genius.

This is quite possibly the best tour in Chemical History. I just can't get enough of the insane HBHG visuals, the wild light up Stargate thingy, bringing S2A back to dance with Snow, the incredible Acid Children vocals after the brand NEW TRACK!

Absolutely brilliant work, Adam, Tom and Ed, everyone, my mind is blown a hundred times over, and I wasn't even THERE!

Wooooaaaaahhhhh - mightily impressive! Where do you start? All new visuals look the part, the transition from DIA to GYH is still there, the 3 Birdies segueway, the HBHG visuals, and the end part of Horse Power to Chemical Beats - man, it looks like the first 20 mins of the show is more breathless than ever!

Here's hoping they'll announce some indoor shows for UK before the Festivals... tempted to buy a Rockness ticket just in case...

wow, mindblowing! nice track selection from their back catalogue so far (three littlel birdies ftw). also how they arranged the visuals (f.e. the setting sun visuals into swoon is nice) also the kidclowns are nice. acid father is back of course...even more scary! sounds and looks fresh for me. also the new hbhg visuals are waaay better than the old windows media player -like ones.

hope we have the new single as a official release (or EBW11) soon.

I'm a little out of it because of the Reel announcement in the Paris thread, but I'm compiling a complete setlist now. Check this post...

1. Tomorrow Never Knows Intro (thanks Joslyn!)
2. Galvanize
3. Do It Again
4. Get Yourself High Transition
5. Horse Power
6. Chemical Beats
7. Swoon
8. Star Guitar
9. Three Little Birdies Down Beats Transition
10. Hey Boy, Hey Girl
11. Don't Think
(my guess as to how it went next:)
- Out Of Control
- Setting Sun
- It Doesn't Matter Transition
- Saturate
- Believe
(again, a guess, but an educated one:)
- Escape Velocity (with vocodered Golden Path vocals)
- Italian Siren Track
- Acid Children Vocals
- Leave Home
(presumably:)
- Block Rockin' Beats

And this was in there somewhere:
- Snow
- Surface To Air
- Hoops

If they played anything else, we don't know about it yet.

I wonder if they're using an Eventide Pitchfacor to make the vocoder sounds on all the vocals, I though I saw one on their set up ages ago...

New song = west coast loop?

Hmm..Could be!

Summary
The things I like about this 2011 tour!

New track!
New Acid Clown vocals + clown children 'scary'
Don't Think added ( I think! haven't seen a vid for it yet)
New visuals, including the stargate!
Much better and brilliant transitions!
And there coming to Mexico!

Talk about an upgrade!!

inchem mentioning transitions brings up another observation - they appear to be very smooth and calculated and polished (not that they weren't before, it's just that everything I've seen and heard here feels like it's been given a fresh faced makeover).

I'm just throwing this out there... but for those who saw them during the Come With Us tour - are you getting the same vibes this time around? I don't know if it's the visuals and stage makeover, the new special treatment of the songs, the spotless transitions dotted with bits and pieces of other songs (such as 3 Little Birdies Downbeats) thrown into the segues and intros/outtros - or what. But I'm getting a feeling reminiscent to the Come With Us tour just by the small things I've viewed on youtube. And I didn't get that with Push The Button, We Are The Night or the first leg of the Further tour. Argh why do I torture myself watching these magnificent clips!!

Anyway. It will be interesting to hear the set in full to hear how the transitions pan out.

I know I shouldn't care too much what the critics say, but I am curious to know is how well their show is received.
be kind, for everyone you meet is fighting a hard battle
