glad that the people are liking my review!!! just read it again and wanted to point out that get yourself high is a live killer, not a liveR killer!!!! that would just be studid!!!!

I assumed! I mean really, it would be studid.
He put on a turn-down collar, a black bow, and wore his Sunday tail-coat. As such, he looked spruce, and what his clothes would not do, his instinct for making the most of his good looks would.

Experimenting with mimosas tonight. Thanks to the leftover champagne from my sister-in-law's wedding. woot. I'll toast to a brilliant live set to kick off the upcoming record and tour. Bring it on! Bring on the liver test!!

I'm sorry, but I just had to bump this thread because it's just too cool. Best thread in the forum's history methinks. I'm am still floored, really. I think it's so incredible that Tim joined the Brothers onstage! I wonder if having vocalists join them onstage will be something they'll do when and where they can in the future... so far 2wice in one year, first with Wayne Coyne (don't start with me, chem'd up! ;) ) at the MTV Euro awards and now Tim at Wolverhampton.

Tom and Ed did say once they were inspired by The Last Waltz. ;)

And will Tom pick up a guitar again onstage?

And the equipment. All that behind-the-scenes gear that brings the magic to the forefront. Always been interested in what goes on and how it all happens. That stuff enthralls me to no end!

I do have something else to say here though. master p was onto something when he mentioned "you are all my children now" all those months ago before anyone knew what was going on. Wonder whatever happened to him?

I cannot wait to hear the new record!!

Anyway, I know I'm rambling right now so I'll just shut da hell up.

:D

I hope they play this cool new material for Glasto! Can't wait :D :D :D . anType, would my theory of 2 vs 5 meaning the chems album 2 (DYOH) vs chems 5, a kinda statement to see how the new stuff holds up to (possibly) their greatest work? :-?

I didn't look up there during the gig, I might have seen you before the gig though, what do you look like?

For everyone who was there I'm 18 tall and blonde. I would have been wearing beige trousers and a blue t-shirt with the chems logo on it (quite scribbly) with "dig your own hole" underneath it. I was with my mate who is quite a bit shorter than me with dark hair and he was in a white t-shirt with writing all over it

I was totally blown away after glint, it seemed like they were ahem....really on the ball (god I'm topical)......no seriously the new stuff sounded wicked and it sounded like they were having a riot behind the decks.....

agree with mips - can't wait to see it toured!

Brixton Academy anyone?

Then the premier of ?the golden path? to the live show. A more bleepy version, but kept the main bluk of the vocal. We were going through a patch of the set where the arms were up in the air, as if we were surrendered to the music.

well it seems i was talking bollocks here!!! i was watching this on glastonbury and was talking to my mate who came to wolverhampton with me. i was saying how sure i was that they played the full vocal when we saw them. my mate disagreed with me, they didn't. it was probably more a case of the crowd singing along, i deffenatly was signing along. it funny how when your locked into the zone, your memories are altered

This is quite an interesting excerpt: "[the Chems] also played a couple of other new tunes one of which was called You're Mine Now." Ring any bells? :-?
