Too lazy to check for Hoops, but the did the "Feel/Take" vocal on Star Guitar.
He put on a turn-down collar, a black bow, and wore his Sunday tail-coat. As such, he looked spruce, and what his clothes would not do, his instinct for making the most of his good looks would.

Star guitar was done by a friend of the chems named beverly something, I believe tom said he did back up vocals for that (I know he did for gyh). hoops uses sample from the association's "round again." I got that record, pretty strange bunch of people but the songs aren't too bad

Tom and Ed sang in GYH? How did they get their vocals to sound so much like a black rapper from america? wow, amazing
hehehe! K-OS is from Canada, don't call him American, you'll piss the Canadians off. ;)
Tom and Ed did indeed lend their pipes to Get Yourself High - there's a mention of it on the first page of the lil booklet inside both the Singles cd and Singles dvd.

Don't know if he's a Budhist or not, but I got this from Astralwerks K-OS site:
K-os' music is deliberately contrasted by his clever and complex lyrics. He's a thinking person's emcee, challenging listeners to absorb his words and seek out truth. He shares life lessons acquired from living in Toronto, Trinidad, Vancouver and L.A., and the wisdom that comes with exploring religions such as Christianity, Hinduism, Judaism and the Islamic and Rastafari schools of thought.
http://www.astralwerks.com/kos/ (go to the "about" section of the site for more info about his approach, style, musical goals etc. - btw, I listened once to his record, it's pretty good, I've been thinking of picking it up!)
