Fun to dance to if you're drunk, but I don't drink anymore so there is no fun for me!

Don't worry Pooter, your latent misogyny will be embraced by the conservative neighborhoods of [insert subject 1's hometown here].
Ha. Well played, sir.
Alanis Morissette made this song back in 1995. I suppose it reminds me of some of my annoying high school years and it brings with it some of my teenage tendencies, which are to punch people that annoy me.
No latent misogyny here. Although I do have a certain loathing for females at times, admittedly. But in my defense, it's no more reprehensible than females' general loathing for men.

Alanis Morisette made Soul Sloshing?
Well if she did, I still think the Venus Hum woman is more annoying. I do find this woman quite irritating myself, if she were a man I too might want to punch 'him'. She just seems so pleased with herself. Give me misery any day.

I just discovered that this was the pretty new-agey ambient-y CD my third grade teacher would play really quietly during our work time for whatever reason. Orinoco Float kept coming back to me at the weirdest times and I finally, FINALLY tracked it down! I had no idea what it was called, but I saw an odd Cougar Town episode around four years ago that used it, so I searched through the music of every single episode from season 1 and 2 and found it.
And I still love it.
And I still love it.

Not embarrasing at all. I got that CD as a kid, or was is a tape?, and still have fond memories of her sound. In fact, she's got an interesting style in her own right.

Orinoco Float
Orinoco Flow rather than float. I'm getting a bit anal there because as an Irish person it's my duty to be proud of little Irish successes abroad. In this case the track was a number one single in the UK, back in '88. Enya was/is one of the younger members of the Brennan family who were better known as the band Clannad (look em up, there's a U2 connection and they did some film soundtrack stuff too).
Whilst Clannad were rooted in traditional Irish music, Enya went for a more mystical/electronic approach. Her sound was created in London's Orinoco studios (hence the title of the track), now Miloco studios. And as you know WN a certain godlike music combo has used Orinoco studios to record their albums. So maybe that adds a bit of um, 'credibility'. Or something.
Oh PS, Ready or Not by The Fugees sampled the shit out of another Enya track. Which member of that would-be cool band was listening to Enya then?
