I'm Philip (yup, that's my real name), 28 years old and I'm currently working as a manager for Hewlett Packard's Technical Solutions Group. I also just broke up with my girlfriend which sometimes makes me behave quite... erratic. In real life I am actually a nice guy, although most of the peepz here probably think of me as a loose cannon. In my free time I watch cool movies and create my own music. Even won some stuff too. I also DJ, sometimes. Today I went to the vinyl exchange (see topic) and spent a lot of hard earned cash. A few days ago I went to see Tunng, which is a folktronica band. It was ace. Oh, I think Push The Button is The Chems worst album, but I still buy everything they release, even PTB... And I still have to meet up with Jeanie.
I must be drunk telling you all this. :?

What?
aka you've shown the real you. I am a little upset by this, you're just a normal guy. In my mind you scurried along the darkerned dirty mountains on all fours in search of food and shelter. Instead you're a program writer for a respectable software company.

I'm glad to hear people remember me, and it's great to know what everybody's up to, though it sounds like you're all your good old selves, and have been chasing wonderful things.
Darkstar: I'm going to need to catch up! It's a long way! good luck coping and on exams!
Jeanie: I remember when you appeared on the forum with great spaced out posts, while you were working as a model, what are you going to do in Australia?
mippio: I didn't know you were studying music production, that is awesome. what kind of things do you do? I'm currently [carefully] building a studio in my home. I love production and audio.
iguanapunk: I actually managed a couple of bread fighting tournaments.
whirlygirl: always kind and always so.. on the money, getting the why! always a great story; don't really know stash, you weren't largely regular when I disappeared! how's your son doing?
Slipvin: thanks for that. that was a different sort of post from you! no frightening links! and really? about PTB. how come?
On a chemical note... has anybody heard a version of EBW8 beyond that batch went around a [month? or so?] ago? Any news on chemical 6? or if there is such a thing? I know they said they've been working a lot but you never know, sometimes you just don't get inspiration.

Heya GLAKO - my son's doing great... he's in 3rd grade now and is growing growing growing. Still into trains, is hard core into Star Wars and loves all things Nintendo. And old habits die hard, he still digs the Private Psychadelic Reel.
For things forum related/playing catch up: toomuch'stash is my husband, and he is quite the gourmet and loves fine cheese! He started coming here toward the end of 2004. So much has happened... I don't think you were here at the time but stash and I went to the UK and met up with sneakerbeater, chemicalfan and iguanapunk and it was the best birthday I've ever had!
In April of 2005 we met up with Darkstarexodus and ElectronicBattleWarrior at Coachella and hands down it was the best show I've ever seen and experienced. It was beautiful, and wonderful to be with the Chemical first timers!
In April of this year, Jeanie, mippio, mipp's friend Glyn, mc marsh and Darstarexodus came out to California and crashed at our place. We were going to go to Coachella but other things happened instead and we spent a few sleep deprived days just geeking out and dancing like monkeys to Josh Wink in Los Angeles.
It's been a great run the past couple of years and the highlights have been as a result of this forum. I can't wait to see what the coming year brings!!

It's nice to read about "the person behind slipvin'" for example.
Sorry to hear you broke up with youre gf man.
Mips - Dude , give me a call today. Need to know whats up with jailbait X-D
Yes Glako - We had a great meet up in California. It was wicked.
You should know something about the relations on this board maybe -
Mippio and i became good friends , and Whirly and Stash also became good friends of mine. I also really like Joslyn who is dutch aswell - we might go record shopping teusday altho i cant spend money !! A lot of the peeps on this board met eachoter , i met Acidchildren , McMarsh , ChemicalFan , Darkstarexodus , Iguanapunk , Joslyn , Tyler , Whirly , Stash and Mippio , mcChebne , Chem'd up , Irish fan , Sneakerbeater , and Apostle and they are all fucking great people !! Seriously man , i dont know why but all this people seem to have a little bit of that Chemical Aceness in them X-D
And in Australia , well , i'll have to work my ass off 6 days a week in order to make a living ( Welcome to the real world , i know ) because i stopped modelling and i need to work a month to make what i used to make in a day. But it's an adventure , and i feel that my destiny is to travel the world , so thats what i'm working on ;) I'll work in an art gallerie and probably a restaurant or something.

It sounds a bit corny but it's been great meeting up with the people from here so far - some fine solid memories that are priceless. And of course a nod to sneakerbeaters' wonderful, kind friends, iggy's mates were funny and indulging loads of fun, and mipps' friend Glyn was "proper house" as they say - and of course Jeanie's friend Luna although it was brief. A pleasure to be treated with hospitality and a pleasure to have such wonderful company as houseguests.
It is a beautiful thing, yeah... The more meet-ups the better, where everyone's welcome anytime!
My son still refers to The Reel as The Blue Song!
As for the foum cd - you should get in touch with chemicalfan like Csar suggests! It turned out really well... from the sleeve down to the tunes. It was nearly a year ago it was completed. There's a lot of creativity in this forum!

Hehe, it is with great shame that I have to say that I delayed and nearly screwed up the Forum CD project :( Dragged it for a few months and eventually didn't mix it, so it was passed over to... err... mippio, I think? :-// In fact, I haven't even heard it yet, who's responsible for its distribution here??? I can pay for CD, postage & packing via PayPal...
Mips and I mixed it last year (probably exactly a year ago, actually!). If you'd like a copy, send me a PM with your address and I'll sort you out a copy and where to PayPal the dosh....
Good post, btw :D

As for C.Bits - the site still resides on my hard disk. I was actually updating it locally from January to September, but then, my laptop hard disk crashed and 8 months worth of updates were hopelessly gone.
oh god! that's terrible. I remember testing things from it out in Mac for you a while back. maybe you can a fresh start? rethink it? you including every detail still?
And you're living in Malaysia, still in KL I presume? if you make it to the UK soon, you gotta go to some gigs! Before the hartnolls are too far off!
what exactly are you doing for a living?
well sorry to be brief I haven't slept in a couple of days on account of English , physics and biology!!! I need my fix of shuteye!
