I work in a lab on campus where I just make "simple" C++ programs. I have yet had the chance to do anything cool like recursion or abstract data types like when I was learning Java. But that was a long time ago before I switched my major over to philosophy.
I hope your exams went well, guys!

You sound like the smart software engineer type!
I could help you if you need help with anything related to C++. Unless you need to learn 2-dimensional dynamic programming or some complex binary trees, i'm not really too experienced with those advanced topics.
I've been programming almost 4 years, self-taught. Don't be shy to ask for help.

@inchem Without having a foundation in Java and C, C++ would be very difficult. As much as I would like to be a smart software engineer, I am only half smart enough. I do love C++ though, very powerful language.
@Probass Thanks for the #include, I think it did the trick.

I´ve always wanted to see them, so it was doubly frustrating.
BTW it seems Soulwax the last electronic band able to fill an arena? i mean, à la Chems or Prodigy? i think they´re the only ones from the noughties that had reached that level...

Soulwax probably couldn't fill an arena here on their own. When they tour by themselves here, they hit up small clubs, which is a plus for me because I'd much rather see an awesome electronic act at 1 a.m. in a club than have to endure an extraordinarily lame early curfew. And yes, Soulwax began in the 90s.
Up and comers from the naughties include Simian Mobile Disco, Justice (though they've noticeably lagged recently), Digitalism, and Deadmau5. I don't know that any of them have a following to warrant stadium-filling to the level of The Chemical Brothers or Daft Punk, though...

From that noughties list you made i´ve only seen SMD and D5, and both have an awesome and beautiful live show (especially the second). But no way they can fill an arena like Soulwax do. When I saw them two, there were so little people it was a bit embarrasing. I think electronic music is right now on a very low popularity era.

Here in the States it seems like electronic music has been on the definite upswing in the last couple of years. Sold out shows for electronic music were something of an absolute rarity earlier on in the decade.
I can't wait to see Soulwax again, though... ::sigh::
ONE MORE EXAM ON THURSDAY AND THEN I'M DONE FOR THE SEMESTER! F*CK YEAH!

Bruce Lee let's his hair grow out I assume!
I seem to be having a better holiday than last year. No setbacks of any kind or crap to worry about. Plan to do my first day of shopping tomorrow. Clothes seem to be more cheaper to buy with some good sales going on here. Not really trying to buy electronics this year but I been eyeing to get speakers and a new sub for my room.
I get a kick out of those remixed X-mas songs!
My relationship with one my co-workers came to a roadstop, but it ended pretty good. Were still good friends personally and professionally without the nasty hard feelings.
A few more weeks for the big hoopla! For some reason, moms and paps seem to be the hardest to shop for!
