The other tracks got better for me.
He put on a turn-down collar, a black bow, and wore his Sunday tail-coat. As such, he looked spruce, and what his clothes would not do, his instinct for making the most of his good looks would.

It took a while for Halfway to grow on me. I didn't really care for most of it when it came out except for a few choice tracks. But now I really dig it. It's like a fine wine, gets better with time but Macy Gray still kind of leaves a too tart taste in my mouth.

Better Living kicks much ass, and You've Come A Long Way Baby has a ton of fond memories attached to it...

When I first got "better living..." I wasn't too fond of it, that actually goes for "Halfway" too, no matter how great the weapon of choice video was (from the great spike jonez of the elektrobank vid), the song seemed too odd. I think the only fatboy album I enjoyed at the start (including his 2 DJ albums) was "You've come a long way..." Ironically now I like "Halfway" the most, it was a little too different at first but grew on me, Macy isn't the best choice for vocals but there's worse. The good thing about that album is that it has a lot of energy. I always listen to it when I take a drive to the beach, for some odd reason, I think I actually picked it up on the way to the beach one day and put it in. My favorite song has to be talkin bout my baby, which has great piano and vocals that are hilarous and fun to sing along with (when no ones around of course)
