Listening to.......
Alex Under - El Encuentro
Minimal sounds really really good when you have a wicked cold, are Robo-dosing hard, and are really really stoned.
Thank God I don't have to work tonight. I am officially cached and couched.

There's a lot of top electrohouse out there, but it's also becoming a "me-too" genre, unfortunately.
Whatya mean?
Where a lot of producers start imitating and a just-by-the-numbers writing process. Like everyone poorly copying the Chems after DYOH.

Astrud Gilberto: Funny World
Not sure why this is on my pc, but it's cool.
Hey... I bet I know why you have this on your computer! Sometime back someone brought up Nouvelle Vague and you were looking for music that was in a similar bassa nova vein. And I recommended Astrud, Joao and Babel Gilberto.
Am I scaring you yet? ;)

Oh I'm sorry iggy!! What's really weird is I remember the Nouvelle Vague conversation from months ago but I have no recollection of that post I made yesterday. Long term whirly memory = good, short term whirly memory = bad.
Being on over the counter meds and being partially comatose can do that to a person! :P
Do you guys get the Colbert Report in the UK?

What is love
Oh baby, don't hurt me
Don't hurt me no more
Oh, baby don't hurt me
Don't hurt me no more
What is love
Yeah
Oh, I don't know why you're not there
I give you my love, but you don't care
So what is right and what is wrong
Gimme a sign
What is love
Oh baby, don't hurt me
Don't hurt me no more
What is love
Oh baby, don't hurt me
Don't hurt me no more
Whoa whoa whoa, oooh oooh
Whoa whoa whoa, oooh oooh

James Zabiela - Robophobia
"A new generation of killer robots!" Acid with some stomp.
Freeland, Wink, and Middleton - Rise Above
A nice slice of funky acid breaks. Very Plumpish. Nice one bruvva.
The Cure - Love Song w/ Outkast - B.O.B. (mixed by Diplo)
Pure gold. That Cure bassline works so well with perhaps one of Dre's best verses.

Mr. Hahn (aka Joseph Hahn) might be the one of the best kept secrets. He needs to split on his own and create his own stuff. Great, great producer.
