If you know... Too bad for you, K+D+B look fantastic ^^
Oh, and Dissolve... I guess you can imagine :P

K+D+B has a really interesting beat. It reminds me of something else I've been listening to lately... lets see if I can find it. Perhaps something by Amon Tobin?

The following sort of reminds me of K+D+B, beatwise:

But I think some other song reminds of this beat more... I can't figure it out right now.

Haha, it is very hard to resist temptation so I'll sit on the sidelines with Wincent. We must stick together!

It's tough but I really want to be suprised and little snippets/previews will only make waiting harder for me.

Keep on keepin on, guys! Your excitement will have to be enough to sustain me until release day. :)

K+D+B has a typical krautrock beat a bit like We Are The Night but lighter. It make me think to the debut of Tom's Latenight Psychtronic mix, it was the first thing that came in my mind when I listened it.
And the video fit perfectly with the synth wave that come later too. It's maybe the track I'm waiting the most !

We already know 3 songs out of 9 (Escape Velocity and Don't Think from the Coachella set + Swoon), I don't want to ruin all the surprise when I first listen to Further.

You know the longer you wait, the better eargasm will be
And this time, we have the opportunity to discover songs along with their visuals.

Thanks for reopening the thread 3EVsimon!
Just to reiterate what I said in the "I Love" thread...

Since they were just 30sec clips I didn't think it'd be a problem putting them up, but if the boys upstairs have a problem with the rips then it would be wrong for me to circulate them. They have a right to let things come out when they want them to come out.
That being said I'm not going to delete the rips for personal use. :)

Let me just say:
If tracks come available on youtube from live shows / DJ sets in crappy quality listen to them to get excited if you want to.
If mistakes turn up, like EV parlopone incident and iTunes preview album, and you are at the right place at the right time, listen to them if you want to get excited for the album and discuss them over here at the forum.
WHAT YOU DON'T DO, it pisses me of a bit, is put those tracks available through mail and pm's or whatever. You don't know where they might turn up.
If you where at the live shows and hear them, cool. If you got te listen to the mistakes, you beat the record companys before they could take them off. If not, tough luck, just a month before the release.

Respect to the withholders.

So, I know there is a short list of people waiting on the album as a whole before checking out the tracks. As of now I have avoided Swoon and have only heard Escape Velocity, and that's becasue I've been in love with it since it was "last track". Is there anyone left that has not heard any Further material?
Gonna work it out...

Kosek I think your video should be fine. It's a clip from a Chems gig, not an actual rip or iTunes preview. If I am wrong then another mod who has connections to the label is free to correct me and delete your post.

just for the record parlophone did not leaked escape velocity on youtube by accident. it was all part of the plan!

I have heard the cosmic Escape Velocity and the summer-licious Swoon - and am doing my best to refrain from listening to anything else Further related until release day.

I believe Wincent and sir_badge are holding off as well.

However, they did accidentally release the album version on youtube before taking it down and putting up the 12" version...

But we all know this already.

That isn't a very good conveyance of K+D+B... not that I can think of a better song to use as an example.
The best way I can describe it is like is you crossed Sunshine Underground and surf rock. Also, I think that when the tracklist first came out somebody speculated that the title referred to it sounding like "Drum & Bass on Ketamine". I have to admit that it sounds a lot like that. Loads of "warm vibes" coming from this song.

What first came to my mind when i heard the K+D+B snippet was the drums from Hoops live (Fuji Rock). Anyways, will Don't Think be on the album, or as a bonus track ?(japanese edition)

I've heard Escape Velocity plus the single version of Swoon but that's as far as I'll go with it until launch. Didn't get a chance to hear the itunes previews. I'm glad to hear the Xmas 2005 opening track (Atom Dance - they should have called it that, good track title) I loved that track when I heard in the Glasgow SECC, been waiting since then for it to be properly released, can't wait to hear the whole thing.

Come With Us is still my favourite Chems album and from what I've heard and read I have a funny feeling Further will seem much more in that field of things especially after the collaboration heavy We Are the Night.

I really hope the record company have nailed the release so Further doesn't appear online early. It'll seem all the more enjoyable if everyone experiences it at roughly the same time on release day.
