Yeah I'd take that list with a grain of salt, the original source (Konbini) first put up a story about how they got the new album on an unmarked disc in a plastic envelope. Then they've suddenly got a list of collaborators but no song titles (save for "Loose Yourself To Dance"... ugh). Then NME took notice and it suddenly became "official"... as much as I'd like to see this particular set of people on the album, I don't have a whole lot of faith in the source it's coming from.

Regardless that's going to be a very magical night for Wee Waa.

This is funky and legit. But each to their own...
Sorry I was maybe a bite rude with this song.
I'm just fed up with all the buzz around daft punk and their new album. We got billboards in the street and in the underground in Paris, we got videos weekly released about their collaborations. Now I've just read their costumes have been made by Yves Saint Laurent.
This song is definitely not worth such a buzz. This is not how music should be done. This is called marketing.

I think characterizing Skrillex as successful because he created his own "sound" is an interesting point:
"Electronic music right now is in its comfort zone and it’s not moving one inch," Thomas says. "That’s not what artists are supposed to do." He adds that the genre is suffering "an identity crisis: You hear a song, whose track is it? There’s no signature. Skrillex has been successful because he has a recognizable sound: You hear a dubstep song, even if it’s not him, you think it’s him."
::sigh::
And then I read this:
They say there are no current tour plans to promote the album. Their "Alive 2007" world tour, in which they played within a giant steel pyramid covered in screens, was a marvel of pop stagecraft, but Thomas says "we have no current plans" to tour the new record. "We want to focus everything on the act and excitement of listening to the album. We don’t see a tour as an accessory to an album." When they do finally hit the road, he added, it will be with a career-encompassing set list, not one overly focused on the new material.
