To be honest I am tired of cleaning up spam when I could be posting as whirlygirl. And thinking about the state of this place and some of the things that have gone on and what's been said - and I can do without the intardent drama. My time can be stretched thin and I enjoy being one person on here.. And I'm tired of explaining why I do what I do or why I didn't do what I should have done, or why I wasn't here to babysit the board. Perhaps I am too strict and that is a criticism I can most definitely live with. In some ways I agree. And maybe that's a cue for me to step aside and let someone else be assigned so I can go back to being babbly old den mom whirly who speaks for herself only.



Be honest, what do you think. Personally I think there are plenty of people here who'd be up for helping this place and would do a good job like Darkstar, ACIDCHILDREN and mipps.



So if you're applying, be sure and send your drugs to stash. ;)



And you all - Jeanie will be sharing mod duties so try not to give her a hard time over not being here 24/7.

I know this could probably be a tongue-in-cheek comment (or not), but I must say that I visit this place at least twice daily (I try to), last time I visited it at around 5-something PM (local time) and deleted a couple of spam threads... and then I come back 7 hours later and there's a huge topic about 23 spam messages (however the messages are already deleted by whirly), so... what can I do, how can I help I can't be here constantly, coz I have a job and some sort of life too... Those freaking spammers are unbeatable (especially in those amounts and with limitations that we've been given by our beloved administrator who's not even bothered to show up for more than 2 years)... So I just suggest giving the surface2air password to more reliable people... I strongly suggest Jeanie... maybe mippio if he wants to... or others who want to volunteer. Having 5-7 people should definitely help.



Sorry if I sound pissed off, I'm actually not :) At the end of the day, admin is the one who should be blamed... He could've at least given us access to the admin dashboard... since he doesn't give a flying f*ck about this forum, it shouldn't matter to him. I had admin's Virgin corporate e-mail, but it just doesn't work nowadays... Sends me back the 'Email doesnt exist' message. Probably the reason why he's not checking the board anymore. Maybe he got fired or quit the job.

I spend 8 hours a day normally checking this place every fricken hour, and there's always spam to be deleted. It's really a full time job.
