This whole time, I thought this image was temporary until they get actual art later on for the album
It's Ok, but I see this stuff at stock photography banks.
Since this is limited, maybe they'll release it again with new art.

We've seen some strong visiual branding from the Brothers' previous releases so I'll reserve full judgment until we see the complete marketing concept for the album, singles and videos.

Speaking of which, anybody know if Kate will be doing the art again? Seems like a good question to ask the Bros.
I've been wondering that myself. I'm not sure what to expect. I would think the artwork would be a variation on the accompanying visuals since the DVD is being marketed along with the music. So I don't know if that would leave room for a Kate Gibb original. Good question, though!

just ordered mine......wonder what the all important catalogue number will be?!?!?!
Defined a little more formally, "escape velocity" is the initial speed required to go from an initial point in a gravitational potential field to infinity with a residual velocity of zero, with all speeds and velocities measured with respect to the field

well escape velocity is not a full official release. no radio edit, no cd single or no promo video. it is a promo to put some music out to get people excited about the chems again before the album is launched. i'm really wondering if there is going to be a full on official single released for this album.

This cover art isn't strong enough for an album cover in my opinion. It's not bad at all, but nothing tooo special. It would make a perfect booklet page though!
i think its all about letting the music doing the talking!

the cat no is 12R 6800, no freestyle dust reference. no cryptic etching on the run out groove. the flip side of the record is an etching is the same vein as the sleeve artwork

And you complainers really are rough, what is wrong with this art? I think it fits perfectly for the track.

somebody here in the forum posted a link to a film director a while ago. in this article the director (he's doing surf movies btw) said that he's in the process of shooting the new chemical brothers video.
if so: we get the first official single (+video) really soon. my tip: warm vibe track (after hearing it a few times - first i thought it can be some b side stuff from the chems or the japan only single; but hey it's a grower ).

Yeah, ironically, that was posted by me. But it seems with the new information we have, that article isn't true. What we do know is that Mr FlatNose is in charge of the videos for the album. Perhaps Adam Smith might have collaborated with Richard Stewart (the guy from the article that did the surf videos)? We'll have to wait and see...
