I was amazed at how big of news this is in the UK.
Of course it's big news out here in California, too.
Michael Jackson has been and always will be an easy target. But even though public speculation makes superstars like MJ more prone to being targeted and victimized, I don't think this current lawsuit or the allegations from years ago happened purely by accident.
There are plenty of celebrity freaks with their own headline making quirks. In the grand scheme of things as someone pointed out there are plenty more people who abuse children who aren't making the headlines. But the fact of the matter is, Michael Jackson has been making child abuse headlines for years and people, including his ex wife Debbie Rowe who gave birth to his own children, plus the other kid who was supposedly abused back in the early 90's have been paid off to keep silent. FACT. No matter how elusive (yet at the same time in the puclic eye) Michael Jackson is, the sheer quirkiness and strangeness of his lifestyle is going to raise eyebrows. One not need look further than his veiled children and baby dangling antics (and just where did he get that baby, anyway?) to see that Michael Jackson is not your average person with your average thought process. A grown man with as much money and good heartedness to give has every right to share his wealth and companionship *within reason*, if he wants. But this doesn't give a grown man carte blanche to share a bed with young boys, give them wine to drink, and deny their parents the whereabouts and goings on of their children while at Neverland Ranch. And speaking of parents - they need to be tried and locked up for negligence. As a mom I wouldn't dream of letting my son vacation with a stranger, no matter how much a celebrity that stranger is and no matter how much their fame and fortune I feel I can relate to. Something is not adding up in all of this. Call it being exploitive on the parents' behalf, but I think the bottom line is the focus is too much on Michael Jackson and not enough on the children who, no matter which way you slice it, are the real victims in this case.
His music may be brilliant, he is an outstanding performer and one of the best entertainers of our time. There is no denying that. And that is why I think it is easier to see why he could be easily exploited, and why fans have an easier time looking past the weirdness that put him in this position in the first place. Celebrity or not, I hope the trial is fair.
It is a shame that Michael Jackson's larger than life persona, plus the public constantly being subjected to his weirdness has managed to overshadow his talents.

Gosh, I don't know. Last time in the early 90's I thought for sure the jury would find him guilty, of course that didn't happen. But that was then, and this is now and I'm guessing the new evidence is there but what we onlookers don't know is whether to believe everything beyond a shadow of a doubt - that's what the jury has to ultimately decide. Plus these days Michael Jackson doesn't have quite as much money as he used to have to silence anyone, and I think that'll be watched closely in that regard. If anyone thought it was bad for MJ then, or thinks it's bad now - the man's going to be raked over the coals much much harder this time.

After seeing 'Jackos Children' last night it shows concrete proof that this guy doesn't abide with the rules and principles of society, the guy is obviously a complete fuk up.
He flirts with the laws of child molestation and evidence was given that he has broken them in the past, i also think people just think he's innocent because his music is good, (i hope the jury members aren't these sorts of people)
The end of the day this guy is going down, he can't buy himself out this time, he'll be sharing milky ways with inmates which will inadvertantly bum his asshole red.

What I don't get is this:
If he is fucking little boys, why doesn't he move to Thailand or something where he can have all the children he can eat, and not get in trouble for it?
and if he isn't fucking little boys, why doesn't he flee the country anyway, just to escape the unjust persecution? Surely he has some money stashed away somewhere. Maybe not enough to build another Neverland, but surely enough to live in some third world country that doesn't extradite to America. I mean, it didn't hurt Roman Polanski's career to flee the U.S.

i definetily think wacko is guilty..no way they are going to be prosecuting mj again with same type of charges unless they are shure to win..and i see no reason why he wouldnt be a sexually active creature, and reason enough why he would be having uncomon perversions..
however, wether he will be declared guilty is a totally different question for this is america, and we must not forget the oj simpson trial... it will come down to the question wether mj is able to get sympathy from the people... i believe this also his strategy right now -> look at the type of witnessess his defense brings.. i mean what is a basketball player gonna say truly relevant about this??
dont think the american jury system is capable of bringing justice... so i predict a fine for wacko.
