The project materials - music, artwork and credits - has been submited and everything is in the process of being pieced together.

Now all we have to do is be patient! :)

When the cd is finished, how will you distribute it? By sending it around by mail? And who can i but it from?

It will be mailed out, but the distribution is still to be decided. Don't worry, when it's ready you'll be informed.

yeah, i mean that is something that needs to be sorted out. who's gonna distribute/print/make them and how are we gonna work costs out? we cant expect whoever is printing/making/mailing them to foot the bill :?

maybe whoever agrees to do it works otu how much it costs for each one to be done then we charge a cost only price?

That was my intention - the price being the cost of a CD & art plus postage. As to who, I don't mind doing it but I don't think my printer is up to the task.

It strikes me that as anType will have the finished mix on his computer, if he doesn't mind, could burn the CD. However anType, if you don't want to do them all then that's cool, I don't mind doing the duplication.

Does anyone have any information on obtaining quality CDs? I mean, I've burnt CD in the past which have been fine in the computer, but really skippy and crap in a proper CD player.

nice, good work chemfan u legend 8)

the only thing with antype doing the cd's is its gonna put the cost up - ie he does them then mails them to you, you do the artwork and send them out - it means that potential purchasers will have to pay the cost of the cd coming from malaysia to the uk, and then to wherever they are in the world :? would be easier to do it all from one location i reckon, that is if you dont mind :-// :D

i mean realistically, i would imagine we'll do 30 cd's max, one each for the artists and then anyone else who wants one, so it shouldnt be an overload of stuff. and if u need a hand with putting any money up to do the first lot of cd's let me know :)

so if your up for it chemfan i think that sounds wicked, unless we can find someone who's up for printing off the artwork on a super-duper colour printer - any takers???? :D

I think i need to step up here and say i am willing to print the album cover and everything. I will let you guys know for sure though. I will have to go to my school and print, but i don't know to know if they will let me print 60 pages 8O (front and back) and even more importantly, that they have a good printer to do a good job.

Quality, reaction!

You don't have to worry until we get a 'show of hands' as to who wants the CD. And we have to wait for the mix & art to be finished, so it'll be a little bit yet.

Hey anType did you get both copies that mippio sent or just the second? If not I wonder what happened to the first? Imagine if some postal worker pocketed it and is attempting to start a career with the tracks.
