The calves are close enough, no more descriptions of my body parts!!

My mother's attention has now been diverted to Return of the Jedi. Phew!

OK, back on topic, don't divert (and don't make me divert) my thread any further, damn you!!! ;) Now I know you've been listening to Push the Button all day. Every time I called you at work, I could hear it in the background. So what song are you listening to now?

You better be listening to a Chemical song or there will be hell to pay. It will also prove to me that my brainwashing techniques on you have worked in my favor. }:-)

I forget sometimes, but wasn't I the one who told you about the chemical brothers originally?

When it 'clicked' in 1999, we were together, driving in the car. And we heard 3 Chemical songs on the radio. Then promptly went out and bought the records. :D

terribly sorry... it's a bad habit from the olden days of the interdent when we used to post on the same boards. I swear, it won't happen that much. The times when she's home on the comp and when I'm at work don't overlap that often.

I spend 8 hours a day on the internet, it's what I get paid to do, mostly, but she's usually at work during those hours. Only sometimes do we overlap in the morning and only at night when I work late.

I don't know if I count... I kinda got a reputation for being the biggest asshole on the entire internet... but I love my wife enough to restrain myself... almost.

At first it's hard to find words to describe what's going on in that record. It takes a while to get your head around it and come up with something decent to say that can slighty do it justice. It just hits on so many levels, the emotional impact is so high.

I'm looking foward to your thoughts!

8O

what the hell. I just read through 2.5 pages and almost none of them had anything to do with this album. Man, I really want to talk about this thing! Here's my description of it.

o0O Surrender was to beatle-ish awsomeness as PTB is to funk-no and hip-hop... A.K.A. Complete and utter awsomeness.

Still, I'm reall missing hope and beth in this CD... It's like tradition!

Which song, to you, is the funkiest?

Hmmm. The funkiest.

There's a lot of funkiness spotted throughout a lot of the tracks but...

I'd say Left Right. Even with the rap/hip hop vocals, it has an old school funk-ness to the overall tune.
